The space This home is perfectly positioned near the vibrant dining and shopping scenes of both Temescal and College Avenue. You are just two miles from Downtown Berkeley and three miles from Downtown Oakland, with San Francisco a quick drive across the Bay Bridge—sometimes taking as little as 12 minutes. For easy travel, the Rockridge BART station is less than a mile away, offering direct service to SFO and a simple one-transfer trip to Oakland Airport. Set back from the street, the property features a lush front garden filled with a fig and citrus trees, plus seasonal vegetables like tomatoes and squash. Inside, you will find a kitchen fully equipped for passionate chefs and a microwave for quick meals. The flat is designed for modern comfort with gigabit fiber internet, property-wide Wi-Fi, and a smart TV featuring YouTube TV and YouTube Premium. Your in-unit laundry is also fully stocked with supplies. This is a split-level flat with ten steps at the entry and fifteen steps leading to the upstairs bedrooms. The master suite features a high-end Alpine Classic queen mattress from European Sleepworks, while the second room offers a surprisingly comfortable full-sized sofa bed by American Leather—it’s definitely not your typical pull-out. Both beds are outfitted with cotton linens and cozy down or wool comforters. For privacy, the rooms are separated by French doors and a sound-blocking curtain, while the windows include screens and blackout shades. The home is thoroughly cleaned between guests and there are sanitizing wipes and cleaning supplies. Kitchen is stocked with most essentials. Olive oil, spices, flour, sugar, salt and pepper. If there is something you would like, please let us know so we can make arrangements. Other things to note Welcome to your top-floor flat! To get a feel for the space, feel free to check out the floor plans we’ve included in the photos. Just a heads-up that our place is strictly smoke and vape-free, so if you need to smoke, please head off the property. We keep things comfortable with an Ecobee thermostat that uses room sensors to balance the temperature and save energy when nobody’s home. We also have Govee water sensors tucked away under the sinks, behind toilets, and by the washer—these will sound an alarm and alert us if they catch a leak. When you want to head outside, there’s a patio in the front yard with a table, power outlets, and Wi-Fi. If you’d like the place stocked before you get here, just let us know! Finally, checking out is as easy as it gets: just lock the doors on your way out and you’re all set—no chores required.
