Located in Avalon, Casa Mariquita Hotel is connected to a shopping center. Catalina Island Golf Course and Avalon Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lovers Cove and Hamilton Beach. Three Palms Avalon Arcade and Nature Center at Avalon Canyon are also worth visiting. We do not provide beach towels, as sand can cause damage to our washing machines. - Guests are kindly asked to bring their own beach towels or purchase them from nearby stores. IMPORTANT NOTE: - The Casa Mariquita Hotel does not have an elevator. Guest rooms located on the upper floors are accessible only by stairs. - Also, due to the island location, WiFi can be spotty, as signal strength on the island isn’t always strong or consistent. - Our Standard Queen Ensuite Room comes in a variety of styles. I'm sharing photos for reference, and the exact room you receive may vary depending on availability. We’ll ensure it’s comfortable and ready for your stay! - Our standard check-in time is 3:00 PM. Should you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your belongings at the front desk, where secure storage is available for your convenience. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore the island and enjoy its scenic attractions. Your room will be prepared and ready for check-in by 3:00 PM. HOTEL ENTRANCE: The entrance is located on the main street leading up from the beach, not on the side street. Upon arrival, please proceed to the front desk to pick up your room key.
