WAKU↑ WAKU-BASE is full of "Waku Waku" as the name suggests! This is a private Japanese-style inn located in Nakasendo Hanyuhara-juku. You will be greeted by ukiyo-e by Katsushika Hokusai, who also designed the Japanese 1,000 yen bill, and ukiyo-e by ukiyo-e masters who painted the 69th Kiso Kaido! The building is decorated with traditional Japanese flower and tea ceremony decorations and books, as well as specialized books on Torii Pass and Nakasendo. Feel free to read them. We have a "shrine" and a "Buddhist altar" so that you can experience Japanese culture as it is. These represent the Japanese people's cherished connection with their gods and ancestors, and are set up to ensure the safety and peacefulness of your travels. There are also plenty of photo spots in the room! Wear a sandokasa and a roadside feather in front of the ukiyo-e of Nakasendo Torii Pass and experience the feeling of being a traveler at that time! Cosplay with a replica sword and haori from the Japanese anime "Demon Slayer" and feel like a samurai! We also have a 120-inch theater space and various board games! (About 10 types) Since it is in the center of Yabuhara-juku, it is close to Yabuhara Station and the Torii Pass trailhead, and is a recommended inn for pre- and post-stay. The space This is a private Japanese-style inn located in Nakasendo Hibarajuku, limited to one group per day. (There are no staff or other guests, so it is a completely private space and stay.) Feel free to use the whole house. The interior is decorated with ukiyo-e paintings by ukiyo-e masters such as Katsushika Hokusai, who also designed the Japanese 1,000-yen bill, and decorations and interiors that give a sense of Japanese culture in places. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. In order to give you a sense of Japanese culture, we have futons instead of beds. (The bed is a mattress type.) There are two rooms, and the layout is four people per room, but you can move the mattress layout freely. Guest access Access to the warehouse and storage building at the back of the courtyard is prohibited.
