Rustic Haven of West Michigan

Better than camping...not a luxury hotel! Think seasonal cabin in the country. One bedroom apt. includes a fireplace, private bath, queen bed, sofa bed, clean (but not ironed) sheets, kitchenette...also an outdoor fire-pit, dining area, and grill. 15-25 min. drive to Lk. Mi. beaches, wineries, golf courses, Saugatuck/Douglas and S. Haven. About 200 yds from all-sport Scott Lake. About 2 hr from Chicago or Detroit. A great spot for a couple/small family to create memories. The space The apartment is in an outbuilding behind the main house (not the host). Short walk to all-sport Lower Scott Lk. The area is rural with many seasonal cottages nearby. Guest access Guests can use the whole apt. and the outdoor dining/grill area, fire pit, and yard near the garage. Parking is next to a small shed just before the garage. Other things to note We are located in a rural type area with some local residents and many summer homes. Directly behind the apartment is a wooded area owned by a neighbor. It can be very quiet and dark, especially during the shoulder seasons. High winds might cause the metal siding to "creak" and although we've never encountered critters/swarms of insects in the apartment, they are sometimes around the apartment.... sort of like camping!
