Located at the southern end of the Vercors Regional Natural Park, come and discover our panoramic refuge in the heart of nature and enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, including the fabulous Synclinal Perché de Saoû The space . Located on the family farm of Clémentine and Sébastien, your hosts Homnest, the refuge has all the amenities in 10 square meters perfectly optimized for an immersion in nature: ✓ AMENITIES ❀: NIGHT AREA * A queen size bed 160x200 cm (2 adults) with XL panoramic views of nature and the surrounding mountains * Ceiling fan to cool off (no air conditioning) * Shades * Bed made on arrival DINING AREA/ LOUNGE * Insulated cooler to store your food in the cool * Electric hot water kettle (coffee, tea, soup, etc.) * Sink with water reserve to do dishes, wash hands, etc. * Table, stools * Drinking water via an 8-liter fountain * Utensils, crockery and condiments Note: There is no cooking or heating food in the space. Our guests prioritize meals such as salads and sandwiches or the on-site catering offered by your host SHOWER AREA/ WC * Summer walk-in shower with hot water * Eco-friendly toilet (dry toilet) * Soap, towels and eco-friendly shower gel provided NOTE: The shower is only open during the warm season, from +/- 15 April to +/- October 15 (dates changing depending on the weather). When the shower is closed, the sink inside the unit allows you to briefly wash your toilet with gloves, soap, and cold water Current shower status: OPEN BUT ALSO: * Outdoor furniture (except winter period): table, chairs & Chilean (no barbecue) * Heating: Gas stove * Housekeeping included * Free parking HEATING: • Thanks to its powerful stove, your refuge becomes a real warm cocoon, even when cold winter temperatures are rife outside. Within minutes, an enveloping heat spreads throughout the lodge. A soft and comforting atmosphere, perfect for a book by the fire or just gazing at the soft orange flames. ❆ FAN (but no air conditioning) • A ceiling fan will give you the feeling of freshness in the bed in the summer. MEALS SIDE: On the catering side, extra charge and by reservation at least 48 hours before your stay (then depending on availability after this time), your hosts offer you local products and delivered to your refuge: * Breakfast (€13 per person) - Every day except Tuesdays * Dinner aperitif board (€32 per board) - Every day except Tuesdays * Local wines (variable price) ✓ GOOD TO KNOW: The refuge is installed in nature and fully self-contained: electricity is produced by solar panels, the heater runs on gas and the running water is stored in a tank. You have all the usual comforts, but the idea of an alternative habitat is also to become aware of its impact on the environment! As a result, a few rules are required during your stay: 1) Except phones and laptops, electrical appliances other than those provided on site should not be connected at the risk of damaging the solar system. It is therefore not possible to use, for example, your hair dryer, a straightening iron or a raclette machine 2) The risk of fire being very high in nature, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in and around the shelter, but also to light any flame (no barbecue) 3) Sewage is filtered by plants: you are asked to only use the 100% natural products provided (shower gel, dish soap) 4) No pets allowed in the shelter Guest access . Check-in: after 5 PM Check-out: before 10:00 a.m. Key box available in case of late arrivals You have a free space to park your vehicle, close to the refuge Other things to note . The shelter is located on the farm of your hosts, who live and work on site. You may have to cross paths with them during your stay There is no wifi in the accommodation The entrance to the shelter is not on one level, it has a small staircase of 3 steps.
