At any other vacation rental, you self-check in and are on your own for the duration, not so with us. Our team includes caretakers, housekeepers, cooks, chefs, an IT expert & dedicated concierges. Some service fees may apply. Staff monitor our guest assistance line 365 days a year. We assist with all aspects of your stay: daily cleaning, IT assistance, chefs, bartenders, grocery stocking, transport, coordination of all meals, restaurants, and unmatched touring itineraries. On-site activities are endless: yoga, private trainers, massage, wine tastings, classes of all types, fishing, nature hikes, treasure hunts, bird watching, or playing with our herd of goats. We are equidistant from the center of either valley floor: 22 minutes. No need to choose between the 2 famous valleys and all they have to offer, as our guests can have both. ACCOMMODATION NOTES ~ This is a rural property, a working ranch with livestock located among world-famous vineyards ~ Depending on the number of rooms rented, lodging can be spread across multiple buildings; a car may be preferred. ~ In the rainy season (typically mid Nov to Apr), outdoor furniture is not set up, pool cushions are stored, and the gardens are naturally dormant. The vanishing-edge pool cannot have a cover and is solar-heated, only a cold plunge in the winter months. Rates are deeply discounted around the rainy season. ~ Up to 6 cars may access the estate ~The largest vehicle possible is a 14-passenger ~ No unapproved day guests or parties; all vendors must be preapproved ~Unfamiliar drivers/Uber/Lyft services not possible - we can assist with errands & food deliveries while in-house CHECK-IN is 4:00 p.m. CHECK-OUT is 11:00 a.m. We do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs, but often cannot make guarantees before the day of arrival or departure. AIRPORTS ~ A WORD TO THE WISE We are ~ 90 minutes from the international airports of San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento, typically longer with traffic. We strongly recommend using the regional airport in Santa Rosa, 40 minutes from the house. This saves a combined 4 hours round-trip and avoids endless concourses. Guest access Every rental is exclusive. Our guests always have access to the full property and would never see other groups on-site. The caretaker will greet you and will be available during your stay. Other things to note This home offers the best views in wine country into both the Sonoma and Napa Valleys.Private 75 acres surrounded by vineyards and wineries with access to the quaint towns of St Helena & Calistoga within a 30-minute drive.
