The space The outside of the home is reminiscent of a traditional Newfoundland Saltbox with colourful clapboard siding, while the interior features modern architectural design with clean lines and warm accents, such as exposed wood cathedral ceiling and natural birch hardwood floors. The home comes fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, cozy loft bedroom with queen sized bed, a space that can be easily converted for dining, lounging or sleeping and plenty of unique storage solutions. The toilet is typically odor free and is emptied and cleaned before each stay. Guest access The Tiny House is located in a wooded area of Port Rexton on an acre of land . shared with an Eco Cabin Airbnb that has a rustic Nordic Spa complete with wood-fired hot tub, outdoor shower and cold plunge pool. For absolute privacy and to use the Nordic Spa, we recommend booking the Tiny House and Eco Cabin together. Other things to note PETS: Your furry friends are welcome but there is an additional fee of $75. WINTER BOOKINGS: Port Rexton has a lot to offer year round and in the winter is particularly enjoyable to cozy up and enjoy the mini wood stove in the Tiny House. The Brewery is open on weekends throughout the winter so you can enjoy their tasty craft beer and gourmet grilled cheese at Oh My Cheeses. The Skerwink trail is always breathtaking and when there is snow, cross country skiing and snowshoeing is dreamy. White Hills is just an hour away so you can also enjoy the slopes! Before requesting any reservations from November to April please review the following challenges and risks that may result from winter conditions: 1) Water: Water to the tiny house, which comes from a hose in the warmer months is disconnected in the winter as it would be at risk of freezing. In the colder months, there is an 80 L water tank filled up in the loft that will be connected to a pump and the hot water heater. Guests are asked to conserve water but if you run out during your stay the property manager may be able to re-fill the tank. 2) Snow Clearing: We have a contractor engaged to plow snow and the property manager will do what they can to coordinate snow removal. However, please note that there may be times after snow storms where accessing the Tiny House may be a challenge. 3) We hope all goes smoothly but if there are any significant problems that we are unable to resolve, you will have the option to change your booking dates or cancel the reservation and receive a refund. Please note that a 4% processing fee will apply to all cancellation refunds.
