Guest access Guests will have access to most of the house, with the exception to the garage and the basement corner lock-off area (unless the den was included in the booking). There are a few maintenance closets that will be locked off. A small portion of the freezer is also blocked for owner use. To gain access to the house, there is a front porch with a front door with electronic lock. This is not the garage lock, which is a separate code device. You'll use the code you are provided at the front door, followed by the bottom button to unlatch the door. To lock, you just press the bottom button. Be sure to pull the door tight while it locks/unlocks. Parking is available on the driveway, for up to 3 vehicles. An additional vehicle could sit at the top of the driveway if needed, but is only recommended as needed since it is tight and still slightly on the hill. No street parking is available or allowed unfortunately. If additional parking is needed, please work with the host on options. Other things to note SNOW/ICE REMOVAL: If you are arriving on a day with fresh snowfall or ice, this will be notified to you and also will removed to the best of our ability for your arrival. Additional snow/ice removal during guests' stay is responsibility of the guests. See notes below. Salt, cat litter, electric leaf blower (for light snow) and a shovel are provided to the guests to use during the stay to remove any additional snow or ice that might appear during the stay. Often, the sun will melt most snow by late morning if it's a light snowfall. ***It will NOT be removed by the host/plow service unless it is an extreme circumstance.*** Guests will have access to a snowblower -upon request only- as well. Be aware, the driveway is on a hill and that you should be aware of this. Like any snowy or icy road, it presents a risk. It's always advised to walk the driveway before driving on it to ensure the traction will be ok. Any damages to the house or property will be the responsibility of the guests. We want you to have a great snowy stay, but sometimes mother nature takes over and makes it a bit more work :) EXTERIOR CAMERAS: Cameras are only on the exterior of the property for protection of the property. No cameras are inside where guests reside. LOCK OFF SPACES: The garage, basement corner room, and basement closets are all locked off from guests and cannot be used at this time. Guests will need to park in the driveway and use the front door to enter the house using an electronic code. WILDLIFE: This property is in a beautiful nature filled area, which also comes with beautiful wildlife. Please understand the risks before booking. You might see chipmunks running across the yard one day, but the next day a moose might be hanging out nibbling on grass. Bear and mountain lions also occasionally come though, although more rare. If you plan to bring your dog, we offer an enclosed outdoor kennel with connection into the house, to keep animals protected when not supervised. Those notes though should not scare you but rather excite you. It's incredible to see the great wildlife from the large windows around the house and we hope you can enjoy it as well. EV CHARGER: Upon special request, there is both a level 1 and level 2 charger available for use. Level 1 charging can be leveraged from the front porch and a charger is located on the main level in the closet. For level 2 charging, the host will coordinate on accessing that charger from the garage. Please note this need in your booking request.
