Right at the edge of the Cotswolds and 5 miles outside Shakespeare’s hometown. The Piglet is surrounded by nature. Sunrises on the deck and sunsets by the jetty. Stargaze at night and toast marshmallows on the fire. Play tennis followed by a cool down in the lake. Then finish your day soaking in the rolltop tub. This is 5* luxury surrounded by wild deer! Guest access Guests have more than 30 acres of grassland, woodland, lakes and manicured gardens to enjoy. A tennis court and a lakeside sauna is also available whilst you’re here. The only area off limits is the rear garden of the main house. Other things to note - Private Sauna : Guests receive a complimentary private 1 hour Sauna & Swim session per stay. For stays longer than 3 nights we permit 2 x complimentary sessions for the stay. This restriction is to allow all guests of the Goose to enjoy the sauna in complete privacy and we ask guests to respect others private sessions. Guests will receive full instructions on how to book the sauna the morning after their first nights stay. However the lake is available to use as much as you like and requires no booking. - U16’s @ The Goose: You will find that the system does not allow children to be added to the booking. This is intentional due to the insurance policy of the site only permitting people over the age of 16. The only exception is 'babes in arms' which is defined as 18 months or under. We cannot allow exceptions to this policy due to the proximity of the lake. People who disregard the policy will be asked to leave without refund as it is against the 'House Rules'. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to add a family cabin away from the lake in the near future to resolve this issue.
