The pantry provides extra cupboard space as well as microwave, ninja air fryer, ninja food processer, blender, slow cooker etc. The same high level kitchen & stone work top is also in the garden apartment with an induction hob as well as an under counter fried and free standing fridge/freezer & is also well equipped. The Opulent Kitchen & Grand Lounge can be kept separate or the extra large double doors can be opened up to make an even larger social space GRAND LOUNGE & CONTEMPORARY LOUNGE The grand lounge is an extravagant room with dramatic dark wooded flooring and a large sumptuous rug, extra high ceilings & ornate coving with a stunning ceiling rose and crystal chandlier. The Grand lounge also features an extra large log burner with high victorian marble surround. The Grand Lounge has a large bay window over looking the patio, large lawn area with views to the sea. There is also a large contemporary lounge / dinner in the garden apartment. The lounge in the garden apartment has a two double sofa beds & can be used as a bedroom with a shower room making it ensuit. THE GLASS BAR The separate cocktail bar room leads off from the Grand Lounge through double Victorian original beautiful wooden & glass doors. The glass bar can be opened up so the whole level is open or shut off. The Glass Bar has a show stopping 19’50’s high bar as well as other drinks cabinets. It’s an amazing area with a comfortable coach, bar seats & stools & fun prints/posters and fantastic lighting. The Glass bar presents a hidden dart board and has a large bar fridge. Double doors lead out to the patio, large lawn & views to the sea. GROUNDS Chelston House has large grounds with a spacious patio area sweeping across the side of the house. Steps lead to the lawn with views leading to the sea. The patio and lawn area are separated with a beautiful stone wall. You can assess the garden from the bar area down steps or from the front driveway. There are steps that lead to the garden apartment which has a large gravel area. There is a charcoal BBQ as well as an outside kamado BBQ/Oven (egg style). Outside has a lovey outside lounge /coffee table area as well as a dinning table as well as other Victorian tables and chairs, further rattan seating and an extra large jacuzzi hot tub. PARKING There are 4 parking spaces in total (three spaces at the front of the property & one at the back). There is plenty of additional parking on the road at no cost if available. TORQUAY Torbay is made up of three towns Torquay, Paignton and Brixham with Babbacombe Downs close by and Cockington Country park even closer. The towns can be accessed by car, boat, ferry, steam train or bus – It is in a great situation as less than an hour away is Dartmouth, Totnes, Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Torquay is on a peninsula so we have award winning beaches surrounding us. The English Rivera boasts 20 beaches and coves to explore. There is a famous 20 mile coastal path. There are many events and festivals throughout the year held in Torquay and Torbay. Torquay has the Princess theatre and pier and other theatres close by. Torquay is home to Agatha Christie – the international Agatha Christie festival is he held in Torquay. There are many bars and restaurants as well as a Michelin star restaurant.
