Highfileds Refuge - Charm and comfort in the mountains

Refúgio Highfields is a charming and cozy country house, on top of the mountain, at an altitude of 1050 meters. A quiet and peaceful place, just like country life. Our house offers a lot of privacy and peace, away from neighbors and noise, overlooking the valley and the mountains. Spend good times by the fireplace on the cold nights of the Serra Catarinense, by the fire watching the sunset, or have relaxing moments in our cellar with salami, cheese and fine chocolates. The space The house has two suites: the main one with a queen size bed, fireplace, TV. The second suite has a double bed, and a mezzanine with a single bed where an adult, or even two small children, can sleep. The super cozy living room, with fireplace and TV, is integrated with the very well-equipped kitchen for those who like to cook and create good moments at the table. In the basement, we have a beautiful and charming wine cellar, with a wide variety of fine wines and chocolates. Outside we have a fire pit area perfect for that moment watching the sunset. We also have a deck under the tree, with super charming lights creating a romantic and cozy atmosphere. All around, lots of nature, a lake, woods for short walks. All this with a lot of silence and privacy. Only the sound of the wind, the animals, and nature. Guest access All the rooms in the house are accessible to guests. Other things to note Our area is 10 hectares and guests are allowed to move around the entire place. We ask that you pay attention to the rules and take care not to dirty the area, and not to let animals access the fenced perimeter around the house. For this purpose, the doors and gates must be permanently closed after passage. We ask guests to be extremely careful with fire, both in the outdoor areas and, especially, inside the cabin when using the fireplaces and wood stove. Swimming in the lake is not allowed; it is very dangerous. We provide some basic kitchen supplies such as coffee, oil, sugar, salt, and bath soaps free of charge. Towels and bathrobes are for your use during your stay, but must be left on site. Other consumables, such as coffee capsules, wines and chocolates, and additional firewood, are charged separately and are not included in the daily rate.
