Lovely detached villa with beautiful large private swimming pool and 6 person Canadian hot tub for the cooler months (October - May), in the middle of an oasis of natural beauty and tranquility. Near the Mediterranean Sea and at the edge of the spectacular mountains of the UNESCO Sierra Nevada National Park. The house is a 15-minute walk near the village with bakeries and nice restaurants. 15-minute drive to the beach. 40 minutes to Granada. 1 hour and 10 minutes to Malaga. The space Outside, you can enjoy a nice spacious pool area and garden with several terraces and a large 10 x 4 infinity pool, 6-person Canadian hot tub and stone BBQ area. The views from the pool area are stunningly beautiful and focused on the mountains and valley of the river Guadalfeo. Every evening you can see the sun setting over the mountains from here. The only neighbors you have are tropical fruit orchards and everything that grows and blooms in the wild nature. From three bedrooms on the ground floor with three ensuite bathrooms and separate office space, you can walk into your private swimming pool with magical night lighting. Then you can understand why your house is called Casa VerdeLuz. Inside, the house has a spacious kitchen modernized in 2025 with a cooking island and a living room with panoramic views, dining area, bar, cozy fireplace that is directly connected to the pool area. You also have a separate office space that is located directly by the swimming pool. All bedrooms are quiet and air conditioned and blinds. The house and terraces are designed in such a way that the indoor and outdoor living are completely intertwined. There is underfloor heating in almost all rooms. The house is really equipped with every comfort but still you remain connected to the surrounding nature. By the swimming pool, which is entirely private for you, there are lovely sun loungers with parasols. The bedrooms are fully equipped with bed linen and bath towels. The house has a separate office space with WiFi which is ideal for home workers. The pool is cleaned by us at least once a week during your stay where we will ensure your privacy as much as possible. We are an eco-friendly Villa with solar energy. Guest access The property is easily accessible via a fully paved road and features 5 private parking spaces and a fully automatic remote control access gate. The property is completely fenced with plantings and a mesh fence and exclusively accessible via an ornate remote controlled gate with intercom, guaranteeing privacy and tranquility. Downstairs of the house, well away from your accommodation, are the stables and some smaller outbuildings located in a natural setting. These spaces and grounds are not accessible to guests. The nearby bridge to the village of Velez de Benaudalla is currently closed to cars until the end of this summer due to renovation work, which means that a detour of about 7 minutes must be taken to get to the village. The bridge can be used on foot. Other things to note Casa Verdeluz has everything you need for an unforgettable experience and is quietly located with lots of privacy but still close to all amenities. Supermarket, bakeries, restaurants and bars are within a 15-minute walk (about 5 minutes by car) in the beautiful Velez de Benauldalla with its beautiful waterfalls and gardens. You can also rent (racing) bicycles and mountain bikes in the village. And there are plenty of cycling and hiking options. Also close to the house is a lovely cool mountain river with beautiful nature. The first beaches of the Mediterranean Sea are about 16 minutes away by car. Here you can swim, dive, sail, sea fish and kayak to your heart's content in crystal clear water. Or... just grab a terrace. Must see Granada is a 40-minute drive away. The ski slopes of Sierra Nevada in an hour and fifteen minutes. The international airports of Granada and Malaga are easily accessible in 50 minutes and an hour and a quarter, respectively. Unfortunately, due to the variety of vulnerable flora and fauna that live around you, no pets are welcome. Realize that you are staying in a place in the middle of nature, yet close to all amenities.
