Enjoy beautiful Lake Groton at Boulder Beach - a public beach just 1/4 mile away, hiking trails in Groton State Park, or just relax on the deck enjoying the summer nights and the sound of loons on the lake. Rent our lake-front home down the hill for a 2-home gathering. The space MAIN FLOOR Open concept living room, dining area and kitchen. A full bathroom and bedroom with queen size bed are also located on the main floor. Bathroom includes linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, hairdryer and toilet paper. Living room includes wood-burning stove. Stackable washer/dryer located in open space between dining table and kitchen. Fully stocked kitchen including oil and salt + pepper. ‼️PLEASE NOTE: The cabin is not equipped with a dishwasher and guests are expected to wash dishes during their stay.‼️ The cabin does not include an ice maker. SECOND FLOOR Two bedrooms each with a queen-size bed. Full bathroom with shower stall. Bathroom includes linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, hairdryer and toilet paper. Rent our 4 bedroom 2 bathroom lake house just down the hill from our cabin and situated directly on the shores of Lake Groton. We are located a 1/4 mile beyond the Boulder Beach State Park entrance, so our cabin is the perfect launch pad for a day on the sandy shores of Boulder Beach. The Groton Nature Center is 1 mile down the road with access to many hiking trails. ‼️Fall bookings: It is important to note that this is a three season log home with no primary heat source. The woodstove (guests to bring firewood) and some electric units are the only source of heat. If you’re accustomed to a warmer home, this likely isn’t the property for you. It will undoubtedly run cool during the fall season.‼️ Guest access You have access to the entire cabin with the exception of the locked basement. You're welcome to explore the 300+ acres of land surrounding the log cabin which is shared with our Lake House property. Other things to note CELLULAR SERVICE: Please note that cell service in rural Vermont is not the greatest. Be sure to enter the destination in GPS when you start your travels. Once the cooler Vermont weather settles in, the cabin will stay on the chilly side. We have the wood burning fireplace available for guest use and some electric units that also help. However, if you’re accustomed to a warmer home, this is not likely the best property for you. Where to purchase wood: The Groton Forest General Store (780 Boulder Beach Road) is currently open Thursday thru Sunday from 9am-2pm.
