To avoid backfill, we ask all guests to dispose very minimal amount of toilet paper when flushing the toilet. KING BEDROOM + mini split AC unit to keep the bottom level cool during the warmer temps + luggage rack for storage + rocking chair for leisure + direct access to bottom level deck OUTDOOR SPACE + The front of cabin has a small walking area with two Adirondack chairs. + patio off main level has a dining area for 4 people, outdoor patio couch, two small Adirondack chairs for little ones traveling with you + gas grill is provided Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin. The kayaks and canoes are included in the rental cost. Guests will receive access to the kayaks and canoes upon completion of signing a waiver. Other things to note The Heron is located on Elmer Davis Lake. This lake is monitored and controlled by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife. + Fishing is encouraged, but guests are required to have an active fishing license. A day pass is $15 and a weekly pass is $35. + Swimming in the water is prohibited during your stay. + You can access the water by kayak or canoe only. The staircases are steep due to building codes in the 70s at time of construction. Both stair cases have custom steel railings, steep step signs, and anti-slip tape. Additionally, hand holds have been added to the walls near the staircase going downstairs.
