Perfect for families or groups of up to 5 people, it offers refined and functional spaces designed for a relaxing, hassle free stay. The interiors are fully equipped with every comfort: you will find a washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, air conditioning in the living room, two modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and contemporary rustic furnishings chosen with care. Every detail is designed to make you feel at home in a peaceful, comfortable setting surrounded by nature. If you are looking for a quiet, well equipped, and cozy base to explore Umbria, Serrina is the perfect choice. Apartment Amenities and Management The apartment is delivered clean, with beds prepared and provided with bed linen and towels according to the number of booked guests. Each guest receives bed sheets and a set of towels. For stays of one week or longer, an additional clean set is provided during the week; for longer stays, supplies continue with the same frequency. Guests replace the linen independently. The apartment is set up for self catering stays and does not include hotel style daily cleaning or housekeeping services. Guests will find everything needed to maintain the apartment independently: broom and dustpan mop and bucket vacuum cleaner essential cleaning products for floors and surfaces dish soap and sponge trash bags Upon arrival, guests will find a small starter kit to make the beginning of their stay more comfortable, including toilet paper, hand soap, dish detergent, and a few dishwasher tablets. Coffee, tea, and sugar are also available for an initial refreshment. As this is a self catering apartment, these items are provided as an initial welcome kit; for the remainder of the stay, guests can restock according to their own needs and preferences. Each apartment is equipped with a first aid kit and required fire safety devices. The property contact number is always available for any needs or emergencies. Guest access We will be happy to welcome you in person upon arrival. We'll meet you along the road or at the gate, and accompany you to the apartment. The road to Casale Castro is a charming country path—ideal for nature lovers. Please note it is unpaved and rustic, so we highly recommend driving slowly, not only to enjoy the view but also to protect your vehicle. With care, it’s perfectly accessible. Once there, we’ll hand over the keys and show you everything you need to know for your stay, including where to find the meters and other useful areas of the house. We’ll be there to greet you and make sure everything is clear from the start, so you can settle in comfortably and begin your holiday in the best way possible. Other things to note Inside the apartment, you’ll find a small guide with useful information: instructions for using the appliances, practical tips, and how to solve small issues on your own. We're also preparing a short video guide to make everything easier and more intuitive—especially for using the TV and other devices. Breakfast is not provided, but you’ll have a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own. The nearest shops and supermarkets are just a few minutes away by car. The water in the Pianello area, where Casale Castro is located, comes from natural sulphur-rich springs. Common in spa and volcanic regions, this mineral water is known for its health properties. It has a distinct, earthy scent—a subtle reminder of the area’s unspoiled, natural character. While it may seem unusual at first, many guests appreciate it as part of the genuine countryside experience. A barbecue is also available, to be used exclusively with charcoal. Olive Harvest & Pressing Experience Starting from October 18th 2025, you can take part for free in the olive harvest and pressing directly from our trees – a unique experience to discover the work behind extra virgin olive oil production. Each participant will receive a bottle of our freshly pressed olive oil and will be welcome to join us for lunch to enjoy the genuine flavors of our farm. Wild Asparagus Foraging Experience From March 10th to April 20th you can join us for a walk through the Umbrian countryside surrounding the farmhouse to hunt for wild asparagus. It’s a great chance to learn how to spot them in the most hidden places and experience authentic country life. At the end of the walk you’ll receive a bunch of freshly picked asparagus, perfect for cooking back in your apartment for a unique zero km dinner. For more details please send us a private message. PLEASE NOTE: TOURIST TAX Please be informed that, according to the Municipality of Perugia regulations, starting from April 1st, 2026, the tourist tax will increase. The new conditions are as follows: The rate increases from 2€ to 2.50€ per person, per night. The tax applies only to guests aged 14 and over.
