Welcome to Elsie’s Humble Haven, a tranquil retreat on Morgan Lane, just off Hwy 26 and 25 miles from the Oregon coast. Perfect for families, couples, or small groups, this cozy getaway offers both peace and proximity to coastal adventures. A nearby creek adds to the serenity, with its soothing sounds completing the relaxing atmosphere. The space The main house at Elsie’s Humble Haven offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, two cozy bedrooms, and a full bathroom. For extra sleeping space, there’s a pull-out couch nestled in the alcove reading nook. Stay connected with WiFi and enjoy Roku TV in both the living room and main bedroom. A washer and dryer are also available for your convenience. Outside, immerse yourself in nature with a seasonal creek that runs through the property, accompanied by a picnic area where you can relax and take in the peaceful, wooded backyard. Just across the way, Osweg Creek flows into the Nehalem River—please use caution when visiting the larger creek. Whether you're here for quiet relaxation or a home base for coastal exploration, Elsie’s Humble Haven offers it all. Guest access All of the property! The property expands about an acre. But the lot lines are not marked. To prevent anyone from crossing onto someone else’s, we ask they you kindly stay on the house side of the property "He is our shelter” picnic area. There are walking trails. We also have a cute creek across the driveway. There is a bridge and a path. Please use caution! Other things to note A welcoming spot for nature-loving families, singles, workers this cozy retreat sits near Saddle Mountain Park, Spruce Run, and the Nehalem River—ideal for hiking, fishing, hunting and exploring the outdoors or if your on the job here! We have plenty of parking and space to go around. Just a short drive brings you to the beaches of Cannon Beach and Seaside, or head a bit farther north to historic Astoria, where the Columbia River meets the sea and the Astoria Column offers stunning panoramic views. Also, there a few great restaurants, coffee shop and The Baker store with pretty much everything you need! Home is not secluded but located on a dead-end road.
