High Tide at Nye Beach

High Tide at Nye Beach is a family-owned vacation home nestled atop a short hill in the historic Nye Beach area of Newport, Oregon. Just a few blocks to the beach, galleries and restaurants, this cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat offers comfort & coastal charm. Enjoy the spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful touches throughout. Located outside the tsunami zone, it’s the perfect peaceful getaway, with nearby beaches, scenic trails, & tons of local attractions to explore. The space Our vacation home has been thoughtfully appointed with everything you'll need to create a memorable beach getaway. Nestled on a quiet street atop a small hill, the house enjoys southern-facing windows that fill the space with soft natural light throughout the day. From the upper deck, you can enjoy a bit more than just a peek view of the ocean. Even on the sometimes misty coastal mornings, the atmosphere is serene and inviting, making it the ideal place to unwind! Outside Spaces: Enjoy the fresh air and ocean breeze on the upper and lower decks, both furnished with tables an chairs - perfect for an afternoon glass of wine or soaking in atmosphere. The backyard also has a small dining table and chairs, a BBQ and propane tank, and small fenced-in yard for privacy. Upstairs Bedroom: This room offers a comfortable queen-sized bed and private bathroom with shower. The walk-in closet provides plenty of storage space, and a small desk and chair are available for those needing to catch up on work. Step outside onto the private deck - the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a relaxing evening tea. Downstairs Bedroom: Equipped with a luxurious king bed, this room also includes a designated work space with a large stand-up/sit-down desk, making it ideal for longer stays or remote work. You'll have shared access to the spacious main bathroom, which includes both a shower and bathtub. All rooms are appointed with high-quality linens and Sealy matresses, ensuring a restful sleep, and are tastefully decorated with locally crafted and inspired art to reflect the coastal surroundings. The Kitchen: Completely remodeled in 2023, is brand new and fully stocked with everything you need to cook your favorite meals. From pots and pans to dish-ware and mixing bowls, it's ready for anything from a casual breakfast to a special dinner. The separate dining room seats six, providing a perfect setting for family meals or gathering with friends. The heart of our home, the living room, is cozy, inviting, and filled with natural light. It offers plenty of comfortable seating, soft throw blankets, and a variety of entertainment options including a TV for streaming services, board games, card games, books, coloring materials, and even a kite for your outdoor adventures. It's the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring the stunning Oregon coast. Other spaces: We provide a full size washer and dryer in the utility room, along with 2 beach chairs and beach towels. Our home is ideal for four guests, but could also accommodate a small co-sleeping child. We provide a playpen and booster seat for little friends. You'll be amazed at just how close the house is to all that Nye Beach has to offer! Driveway available for up to two cars parked nose to tail. Other things to note We can accommodate 2 cars (or 3 small cars) parked end to end. Our driveway is double wide and shared equally with the neighbor. Please park only on the left side of the driveway. In order to preserve the peaceful environment, we do not allow parties, events, photo shoots, or visitors beyond registered guests. We are however open to being flexible around having a guest, please ask.
