Queenstown is full of history and things to see. Waterfalls, lookouts, historic buildings and breathtaking scenery. Our property which is a lot larger than you think and is only a few steps to the iconic Wilderness Railway and cafe. We provide food essentials, washing machine and dryer and internet. Secure off street parking and seperate games room. If you thinking of coming to visit the West Coast my advice is to stay 2 or 3 nights in Queenstown which is the centre of the areas 5 towns. The space When booking your trip my strong recommendation is to stay two nights. It will allow you the time to get here look around and enjoy what is on offer in the area. Welcome to new look Lazy Frog Cottage. We have added a new vibe to the property inside and out. Retro styled elements are blended into the modern renovations. A new bathroom is fed by continuous gas hot water. So for large groups hot water will be there for the last in line. A separate toilet from the shower room providing better utilisation. New kitchen fitted with almost all appliances you would have at home including a dishwasher. Dining table with room for six. Two main bedrooms contain their own heat pump or reverse cycle unit and decorated with retro feature walls. Large wooden comfy beds and soft mood lighting via stylish side lamps. One has an attached room with a cot set up and large hanging area for clothes. The other a large built in robe. The third bedroom has two single beds with plenty of space for children or adults. The lounge room continues the retro theme with period items and contains a large comfy six seater couch with end recliners. THE ENTIRE HOUSE IS PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED AFTER EACH GUEST INCLUDING ALL LINEN AND TOWELS ETC. Food items are provided free of charge including coffee machine and pods. A full kitchen allows meals to be made for the entire family. Laundry with front load washer and dryer. There is also undercover clothes line just outside the back door. There is a seperate room that contains games and books which can also be used as a quiet space or an office. Outside has an undercover table and seating area via the backdoor. There is a large garden area with newly transplanted ferns which will grow back quickly. We have also added a Bocce court to enjoy. Balls are by the back door. We have a shed for bikes etc that can be locked. Seating with two different mountain views including the famous Spion Kopf lookout. Hope you enjoy our little frog friends scattered throughout the property. Guest access The key safe is located at the front door of the property. There is also rear access for car parking through an easy open gate. Instructions and directions supplied day before arrival. Guests have the benefit of self check in through a secure key safe. Guests have full use of the entire property during their stay. Tasmania contains 3,000 named mountains and is the most mountainous island in the world. People that visit here leave with a totally different perspective than what they possibly were anticipating. The view from Orr Street (the main street) is one that captures you as soon as you look up the street towards Mt Owen. Registration Details DA 2022/6
