Guesthouse on the Reeuwijk lakes

In an idyllic location directly on the Reeuwijkse lakes, an attractive guesthouse with a terrace on the waterfront. Wake up to the sound of whistling birds, take a refreshing dip and warm up with a tea in the sun or under a hot shower in the nice bathroom. Great for cyclists, hikers and nature lovers! The space Through the entrance on the side of our house, you enter the living room (3x4.6 meters) of the B&B. Here is a small pantry kitchen, a seat for 2 people and a round dining table with 2 chairs. Through French doors, you have access to the terrace on the water. The pantry kitchen is not suitable for cooking, but you can make breakfast and heat up a meal you brought with you. There is a combination oven microwave, a small refrigerator and a dishwasher. Basic tableware, cutlery, etc. are provided, as well as a Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle. Through a sliding door, you enter the bedroom (3x3 meters) with a lovely bed (160x200) and storage cabinets on both sides. Ensuite, there is a nice bathroom with toilet, sink and walk-in shower. Towels are provided, the bed is made for you with fresh white cotton bedding. Let us know if you would like a TV, and we will put one in. The WiFi is not fast in this outdoor area, it is good to work with but streaming and downloading requires some patience. Guest access The B&B is on the side of our house and has a terrace separated from the garden by a (recently planted) hedge. Via the jetty, you can swim or canoe with one of our canoes. We also have a sub available. The jetty is common, we use it ourselves and from the jetty you can also see our house and possibly us. Other things to note We have 2 dogs that walk freely on the property, of which 1 puppy was born on 9-30-2024. In consultation, we can block access to your terrace so that he, no matter how sweet, cannot bother you. The 2nd dog is old and deaf and shuffles around a bit, you won't notice it. On behalf of the neighbors, we ask our guests to speak softly on the terrace after 11 p.m. The BnB is located in a quiet area, and sound over water carries far, we ask our guests to take this into account as well. On warmer summer evenings, the youth at a recreational area further down the road sometimes want to be noisy, in the bedroom you will not be bothered by it, but outside on the terrace you may hear something of it. Due to the location directly on the water, the B&B is unsuitable for small children.
