Inside, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living space with large windows overlooking the lake. Conveniently located 20 minutes from Augusta, 25 minutes from Waterville and 45 minutes from Belfast. The space Relax and unwind in the cozy first floor master bedroom, featuring a plush queen bed, serene lake views, and a private en-suite bath—your perfect retreat after a day on the water. In the living room, the sofa has a pull out trundle with a twin mattress. Upstairs you'll find another room with 2 twin beds. Another room upstairs is set up as a game room with a dome hockey table and small balcony to enjoy the lake views. Full kitchen available with electric stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster oven. The Lake: Enjoy our private dock to kayak, swim or fish. China Lake is known for being home to some of the best bass fishing in the state of Maine! Tandem, single and a child kayak are available for the duration of your stay with a signed waiver. A solo stove is also available for enjoying the outdoors after dark. Daily visitors include loons, ducks, turtles and bald eagles! The Neighborhood: Walking distance to Back's Dairy Bar for ice cream, 5 minutes from Hannaford for any grocery needs and just a few miles from restaurants including Majek Seafood and Grill and The Landing. Other things to note To keep our septic system running smoothly and preserve the pristine lake water, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Feminine products, wipes (even 'flushable' ones), paper towels, and other items can cause damage to the system and the environment. We appreciate your help in keeping the lake clean and our cottage in great shape for future guests. While we have our own private dock, our property is close to our neighbors. The dock to the left is for our neighbors with deeded access and the dock on the right is ours. We ask to please be respectful of our neighbors as this is their home year round. We do rotate bedding so linens for your stay may be different than the photos.
