The space The Granary Bright, spacious, and full of character, The Granary is a beautifully converted farm building that offers a peaceful hillside escape for up to four guests. Inside, you’ll find an inviting open-plan layout where the kitchen, living, and dining areas blend seamlessly—perfect for laid-back mornings, shared meals, and cosy evenings in. The cottage boasts a stunning, oversized master bedroom that feels like a true retreat, alongside a second beautifully designed double room. There’s also a stylish bathroom with a bath and overhead shower—ideal for a long soak after a day outdoors. Electric heating keeps things cosy year-round, and all your essentials are covered, with bed linen, WiFi, and a fully equipped kitchen included. Step outside into the garden and take in truly out-of-this-world views—your front-row seat to Southern Scotland’s natural beauty. With the Southern Upland Way right at the end of the drive, it’s a perfect base for walkers, bikers, and nature lovers. And if you’re bringing your four-legged friend, we’ve got them covered too—with thoughtful doggy extras to make them feel right at home. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times outside of the cottage as we have animals free roaming that would not like to be chased. The Granary is strictly no smoking Private parking at location Guest access Guests enjoy use of the whole cottage & garden but our fields are out of bounds as we have animals in them & a pond that would not be safe for children to play near. The large shed & surrounding horse area is also no access to guests Other things to note Please do not feed our horses, you could make them very poorly & although they are friendly they may bite you.
