The space Cozy Oceanfront Bungalow with Private Raft, Kayaks & Firepit Welcome to your beachfront escape! This cozy and stylish 2-bedroom bungalow is the perfect retreat for families, couples, or small groups—just steps from the ocean. The primary bedroom feels like a relaxing hotel room, with a king bed, smart TV, bedside lights with built-in charging stations, and French doors that open onto a private lounging area with a teak sofa and armchairs. It also includes a bright, simple ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower. The second bedroom features a double-over-queen bunk bed—ideal for kids or a young family. The dining area showcases a beautifully crafted live-edge resin table, perfect for indoor meals or game nights on rainy days. (We’ve stocked the cabinet with plenty of puzzles and board games.) The newly renovated kitchen is bright, clean, and fully equipped with modern appliances, including an induction stovetop. A crab pot is available for outdoor use on the BBQ—perfect for cooking up your fresh catch. For outdoor fun, enjoy two paddleboards and three kayaks, complete with life vests. Paddle or swim out to our private ocean raft and watch the sunset from the water. In the evening, relax around the firepit in Adirondack chairs. Firewood is provided, and the gas-assist feature makes lighting a breeze. During summer fire bans—which are common in the region—you can still enjoy the ambiance using just the gas flame, which is typically permitted when wood fires are restricted. A cozy bonus on warm summer nights! Guest access Guest Access Guests have full access to the entire house and outdoor spaces during their stay, including the oceanfront yard, BBQ, firepit, lounging areas, and all water sport gear. There is also a separate newly built and well appointed bunkhouse on the property. This has a queen bed and twin bunks, and a kids loft space, a washroom with shower and coffee/fridge/ microwave. It is available as an extended space for larger parties at an extra cost: $100 per night off season and $300 per night in the summer, with an additional $100 per stay cleaning fee (this is in addition to the extra guest fee.) Once you confirm a request for ther bunkhouse we will request the additional fee through airbnb. Great for larger family or for families vacationing together. Other things to note We are located along the popular beachfront road in Qualicum Beach, putting you within walking distance of dining, bars, and even live music. Check-in is after 4:00 PM. You’ll receive a personalized access code for the gate (for private parking) and front door before arrival. Bathroom fans run continuously to meet local hotel/motel licensing requirements, you cannot hear them with the door closed, just an FYI. Please no smoking anywhere on the property. We aim to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all guests. Some dogs (cat allergy, so sorry we don’t allow) may be considered—please contact us in advance if you'd like to bring one. Quiet hours are after 10:00 PM, in consideration of our neighbors and the peaceful setting. There is limited public transit in the area, so we recommend having a vehicle to explore. The outdoor gear (kayaks, paddleboards, life vests) and raft are used at your own risk. Please use caution and follow local water safety guidelines. We have an exterior 24-hour security camera system for safety and peace of mind. Emergency services are available by calling 911.
