The space Our three-bedroom, one-bathroom lakefront cottage is designed for relaxed family getaways and groups of up to six. Inside, you’ll find two queen bedrooms and a family bunk room, along with a comfortable living room where everyone can gather for a movie. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare full meals, with children’s dishes and utensils available for younger guests. A screened-in porch offers another cozy spot for morning coffee or reading by the lake. Outside is where the cottage truly shines. The property has a private sandy beach with a shallow walk-in entry, a sunny dock and beautiful west-facing sunset views. Guests can enjoy two kayaks, two paddleboards and a pedal boat, then unwind in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit in the evening. The cottage is surrounded by mature trees yet conveniently located just four minutes from groceries, firewood and other essentials in Mactier. Guest access Guests have full private access to the cottage, including all 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living spaces, and bathroom. Outside, enjoy the private sandy beach, dock, kayaks, and fire pit. The property also includes on-site parking for multiple vehicles. Other things to note You’ll enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by Muskoka nature. Please note, a train passes nearby about 3 times a day — it’s brief, and many guests find it adds to the local charm (children often find it very entertaining!). As with most Muskoka properties, you may spot local wildlife, so we recommend keeping food indoors and supervising children by the water. During summer months, local fire bans may be in effect.
