Back in the day, before the advent of local “mountain mansions,” the simple A-frame was the quintessential cabin-in-the-woods. This rustic 2-story, 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin takes you back to simpler times. Stepping through the front door reveals a modest but spacious-for-four living area with more than adequate seating, a freestanding propane furnace, and an old-school monitor with a VHS and DVD player. There’s an efficiency kitchen with all of the basics (no dishwasher), a breakfast bar with seating for four, and a full bath. Ascending the ladder-type stairs (which may not be suitable for children and the physically challenged) to the second floor reveals one bedroom with 1-full-sized bed and a second bedroom with 1-full-sized bed in a loft setting. Just outside the front door is a brand new and generous-sized deck, and a private hot tub is just off the deck. This pet-friendly (2 pet maximum, NO exceptions) and monitored family vacation cabin will sleep up to 4 people (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). Snowline is located at the edge of the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, close to the Mt. Baker Ski Area and spectacular old-growth forests, an area rich in history. The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing and nature viewing. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!
