Welcome to the new heart of Goodyear Arizona. Our large, five bedroom, three bath home is the ideal location for exploring the Phoenix West Valley. A three block walk to the new Goodyear Square entertainment district featuring numerous restaurants, a multiscreen movie theater, and nearby shopping. Our home has a pool with sun shades, a large patio, palm trees, and a natural gas barbecue. The pool can be heated with prior notice if you intend to use it from November to April (+cost) Love It! The space This spacious home is fresh, well cared for, and has everything you could want in a vacation rental in the heart of the West Phoenix Valley. Our 5 bedroom, 3 full bath home is tastefully furnished and can sleep up to 9 adults. Two of the guest rooms are in the front of the home with a shared bath and insulated from the great room/kitchen, so they are quiet. The other three bedrooms are right off the great room. The spacious master bedroom has a large bathroom with two sinks, separate bath and shower, and a large walk in closet. It has its own private entry to the backyard and pool. The great room has three couches, plenty of chairs, a 75 inch UHD TV with stereo, and a full size pool table. Attached to the great room is the formal dining area. Our well-equipped kitchen features all the modern conveniences, and has a breakfast nook for informal dining, as well as barstool chairs for the granite center island. There is a second refrigerator in the garage. Our pool and recently refurbished backyard is the perfect place to unwind with no busy streets nearby. The pool remains swimmable in the summer from May to October, and can be heated from November to April for a modest cost of $60 for the first night and $35 per night thereafter. The pool is shaded, but there are spaces away from the pool with no shade if you want to work on a tan. The backyard is large and private. There is a natural gas barbecue for entertaining, as well as sitting areas. We have two central AC/furnace units servicing the front rooms and the back separately. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION The home is only 1.5 miles from both the I-10 and L-303 freeways, walking distance to Goodyear Square restaurants and bars, and a short drive to shopping. The City of Goodyear is on the Western Edge of the Phoenix Metro Area and makes arrivals from LA and San Diego easy by avoiding the congestion of downtown. But the Phoenix airport and city center are only 25 minutes away (traffic permitting) when you do want to venture out. For baseball fans we are only 5 minutes from the Goodyear Ball Park (CLE/CIN), 10 minutes to Camelback Ranch (CHI SOX/LA) and less than 20 minutes to Ball Parks in Surprise, Peoria, and Glendale. For NASCAR fans, we are 15 minutes from the Phoenix International Raceway. Golfers will find there are plenty of choices, from 3 Champion courses in Pebble Creek, to the additional 3 in Palm Valley, to the 3 courses of the historic Wigwam resort, to the economy alternative of Tres Rios, to Top Golf, to a driving range, there is something for everyone. And all of these are within 10 minutes! If gambling is your thing, the brand new Desert Diamond White Tanks Casino is only 10 minutes away with world-class dining options. Or you can drive 15 minutes to the West Gate entertainment district with the original Desert Diamond Casino, West Gate Outlet Mall, State Farm Stadium, Vai Resort, and more. For hikers and bikers, there are hundreds of miles of trails in the Estrella Mountain and White Tanks Regional Parks. For kids, there are water parks at the Goodyear Rec Center, the Wigwam, and Vai Resorts. Also, there is a wild animal park in Litchfield Park, 5 minutes away. If you can't find something to do in Goodyear, well... Guest access Our home is fully automated. We have remote programmable door locks which we will send you the codes for when you are ready to check in. There is a two-car garage with a remote door opener, which we will provide after check in. There is room to park 3 cars/trucks on the driveway, and there is plenty of street parking right in front of the house. No restrictions on overnight parking. We have a remotely monitored security system and there are perimeter cameras on all sides of the house, as well as a doorbell camera. Inside is fully private. Remote automation allows us to monitor the systems in the home, such as AC/heat, the pool, and wifi network. Many issues can be solved remotely. Other things to note Note that there is a one time per booking cleaning fee of $350. This house is large and takes over 8 hours for the cleaning crew to service. If you would like us to turn on the heater for the pool, there is a $60 charge for the first night and $35 per night thereafter. We need 2 days prior notice to turn on heat. Payment must be made prior to check in using the Airbnb Resolution Center https://www.airbnb.com/resolutions. We do not collect any fees outside of Airbnb. No refunds are available once heating is requested. The pool only needs to be heated from November to May, otherwise it will be at least 80 to 95 degrees depending on the ambient temperature. There is no cooling of the pool available. The swimming pool is accessible via three doors. All doors have manual locking childproof locks. The locking is from the inside only. There is a temporary soft fence which can be installed around the pool, but that is for the guest to set up and take down. There is no permanent fence or gate. Children should always be supervised while in the back yard, and the doors should be locked when no adult is available. Every year several children drown in swimming pools, please take care of your kiddos.
