Description
Unwind in our off-grid glamping tent nestled on 25 acres. Designed for stargazing, this cozy, solar lit space features a comfy bed, propane powered outdoor shower, rustic outhouse, firepit/grill, and a picnic area. There is no hydro or running water on property, the water for the shower will be supplied for you. Occasional tool sounds may be heard as we continue developing the land. Never early in the morning or late in the evening. The space The property is blossoming into its full potential but still offers a connection to nature with some comforts of home. As I live on-site and continue to fine tune the space, you may see me around, but I fully respect your privacy. I have three friendly dogs on property, you may hear barking when you arrive or depart. They are always in a fenced in area or on leash with me so there’s nothing to worry about! This is a spot to embrace the outdoors with all its rustic charm, expect to encounter a few bugs and the natural beauty of the outdoors. It’s perfect for a true outdoor enthusiast. Guest access There is signage indicating the parking spaces available. Your glampsite and the outhouse are easy to find with posted signs. Along the path, there is a 'garbage drop' location, please put your garbage in there instead of leaving it at your site, this is to avoid inviting any critters or wildlife to your site. The outhouse is a shared space that other guests may use. It is cleaned daily. There are 3 sites in total, on the property. All sites have their own private outdoor shower. There are a few structures on the property, a cabin, a trailer, and some sheds, I kindly ask you do not enter these areas. Please avoid wandering beyond your designated site as I’m still working on creating trails and the property borders aren’t fully defined. Please respect any other campers and do not walk in to their sites. There are 3 sites on the property. If you bring a dog, please keep your dog leashed and do not leave your dog at the site by itself. Other things to note Reminder the property is fully off grid, there is no running water or hydro. There is a nearby well (Berford Lake), just a few minutes drive where you can fill up water for free.. we use it all the time! Plus you can swim at the beach there too. There is no longer a gas station in the town of Wiarton so your options to gas up before you get into town are Hepworth or Sauble Beach. If you are coming from Tobermory your options are in Tobermory or in Lion's Head.
