Nestled on an acre of picturesque beachside at Big Point PEI, Sand Dancer is a delightful 3 bedroom A-frame cottage. Surrounded by calm water, pine trees and wildlife, it's a haven of serenity and a place to make memories. With a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, patio area, BBQ and fire pit, it has all the amenities required for a perfect stay. Within easy reach of Charlottetown (45 mins), Wood Islands (12 mins) and a short drive to several local restaurants, supermarkets and landmarks. The space Welcome to our little place by the ocean. On entering this A-frame cottage through the Teal door, you’ll face into an open concept living space, with seating and tv viewing area. Beyond lies the kitchen and dining room, which is well equipped for you to cook up a storm, with oven and hob, sink, fridge freezer, coffee maker, dining table and island breakfast bar. Also on the ground floor, our Cabana double bedroom, bathed in glorious light on sunny days, which serves access to the property’s bathroom (boasting a WC, sink and shower). Head carefully up the stairs to our beach style Loft room, complete with double bed. Catch a glimpse of the beach, panoramic views of the sea, Point Prim Lighthouse and even on a clear day, Nova Scotia. At night, you can stargaze through one of three skylights. Across the mezzanine (where guests have ample room to store clothing and baggage) lies the Garden room, with views over mature trees and an expanse of farmland. Here there are twin beds and a desk, should you need a quiet spot to work remotely. Just don’t spend too long. Outside, enjoy a Barbecue on the deck, take in the spectacular sunset in our mosquito-netted pergola, or sit and listen to the crackling fire by night at our in-ground fire pit. Relax in the garden and you might just spot some wildlife (our local friends include Foxes and Ospreys). For those adventurers choosing to leave the property, take a short walk down the trademark PEI red mud lane to the shoreline. The water is shallow, sheltered and ideal for kayaking, paddle-boarding, or simply just cooling off. Whatever you choose to do in our little piece of paradise, we hope you make it your home. Other things to note Though our cozy cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people, please note that access to the bathroom is gained via the downstairs bedroom. As such, stays for 6 people may be better suited to families, or the closest of friends.
