It works well for all of them. The penthouse sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac so no through traffic, no noise. Every single room has a view, whether it's the valley rolling towards Xlendi or a distant shimmer of the sea. The living and dining area are large and comfortable. Step outside onto either of the two terraces and you'll see why guests find it hard to leave. Breakfast has a habit of stretching into lunch here. 🍳 THE NEIGHBOURHOOD: Munxar is a small, quiet village, the kind where neighbours say hello and kids play outside. It's a proper residential area, not a tourist strip, which is exactly why guests who've been to Gozo before tend to seek it out. There's a supermarket a 5 minute walk away, a playground nearby, and a bus stop close to the house for those who'd rather not drive. Xlendi with its beach, restaurants and cliffside walks is a 5 minute drive down the valley. Victoria, Gozo's main town, is equally close for markets, shops and the old citadel. It's accessible and practical, but still feels like you've found somewhere a little off the beaten track. GETTING AROUND: A car is handy for exploring the island but not essential day-to-day. The bus stop nearby connects you to the rest of Gozo, the supermarket is walkable, and Xlendi is a short drive. Free parking is available right outside the property.
