Tucked away in the sunny Karawanks, Austria's southernmost mountain range, our tiny home offers several outdoor adventures like hiking, rock climbing, paragliding, and swimming at a nearby reservoir. Enjoy your holiday escape surrounded by lush forest with hammocks, and don’t miss our on-site farm shop for locally sourced delights such as cheese, bread, honey, meat, and eggs. The space The Alpine Experience by Tiny Away is situated in the peaceful countryside of Zell-Freibach, just a 39-minute drive from Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, the capital city of the southern Austrian province of Carinthia. This charming tiny home is nestled in a wide-open meadow with breathtaking mountain views, and it offers access to a community barn with a full kitchen and a large fire pit for evening gatherings. A peaceful retreat that allows you to relax and reconnect with nature, all while enjoying the modern comforts that make your stay unforgettable. Nearby are Fishery Steffan, the stunning Wörthersee, the enchanting Wildensteiner Wasserfall, and the vibrant cities of Klagenfurt and Ljubljana. Take the opportunity to experience local life and savor delicious cuisines while exploring these beautiful surroundings. It's a cozy 221-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, a hand basin, and a shower (electrically heated for hot showers) for your use. There are two tiny houses on the property. Outdoor activities begin right at your doorstep. A cross-country ski trail is only a three-minute walk away. Snowshoeing tours start directly from the property, so you can explore the winter landscape without needing to drive anywhere. Sledding is also possible on the property itself, and sleds are available for guests to use. For alpine skiing, a ski resort can be reached within a pleasant 35-minute walk. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we have two holiday homes, "The Alpine Experience 1" and "The Alpine Experience 2", available with 24 hours' notice in advance. Guest access Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings. Preorders and other amenities are available for a small fee: - Enjoy private sauna use, the large fire pit, gas BBQ grill, or personal training with a fitness expert, with advance booking required. - Organic Breakfast Available, and upon request for €15 per person or €25 for two. Choose between a Fitness Plate or Healthy Bowl, made with fresh organic ingredients. The difference: 🍓 Healthy Bowl – granola, with yogurt, skyr, fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, superfoods, etc. 🥑 Fitness Plate – fresh bread with a selection of healthy savory sides, including cold cuts, farm fresh eggs, etc. Other things to note - Wi-Fi is available - Gas BBQ Grill is available - Organic coffee & tea avaiable - No smoking allowed inside the tiny house - There are two tiny houses on the property - Mobile phone reception has a good signal - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - We have "Drinking Water" sourced from the fresh mountain spring - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge Pets Policy - Pets are welcome for €15 per pet, paid directly to the land host, with 24 hours’ advance notice and must be kept on a leash at all times due to livestock on the property. The rest of our rules and guidelines will be sent prior to booking. Amenities free of use: - ⁠Sandpit and trampoline for children - ⁠A hammock for the woods upon request - ⁠Various board games for families and couples Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more.
