. THINGS TO KNOW This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. Guest access You'll enter using a keypad code at the front door. Enter your code and wait for a green light on the Schlage button to confirm. Then rotate the deadbolt beneath the keypad away from the door frame and pull the door open. When you leave, press the Schlage button, rotate the deadbolt toward the door frame to engage it, and confirm it's locked. The door will not lock on its own. If your code is rejected (red light), wait 5 seconds for the lock to reset and try again. After three incorrect entries in a row, the lock will pause for 30 seconds before accepting new attempts. A video guide to the lock is available in your confirmation materials. Other things to note This home does not have air conditioning. Like most mountain properties, it stays naturally cool at night and AC is uncommon in the area. To keep comfortable, open windows in the evening and early morning, close them and draw the curtains during the day, and use the fans available throughout the home.
