Welcome to Mabel’s Maine Studio, a peaceful Midcoast Maine retreat located in the charming Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort. Nestled on the banks of the beautiful Sheepscot River in Edgecomb—just steps from the “prettiest village in Maine,” Wiscasset—this cozy studio is the perfect home base for exploring the coast of Maine. This bright, corner unit condo features a private entrance and easy ground-floor access. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable queen bed, full bathroom with tub/shower, and a cozy seating area with a smart TV. There is an additional pullout sofa that is suitable for an adult or 2 children, not quite a full-sized pullout but bigger than a twin bed. The convenient kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, standard drip coffee maker (basket filters needed), and basic dishware for light cooking. Enjoy partial river views from your window and take advantage of on-site amenities like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a deck to soak in the fresh coastal air. Step outside and stroll down to the riverside dock, available for guest use—perfect for a morning coffee, launching your kayak, fishing, or simply enjoying the view. The 18-acre resort grounds feature beautifully landscaped paths, a waterfront gazebo, and a resort-shared fire pit for gathering under the stars. Shared kayaks are available for guest use - they are stored at the dock and signed out on a first-come first-serve basis with a signed waiver via the resort. Things to do nearby: Walk into Wiscasset for antique shops, galleries, Sprague’s Lobster and the famous Red’s Eats (don’t miss the lobster roll!). Enjoy fresh oysters, craft beer, and local wines at nearby tasting rooms. Explore Boothbay Harbor, just 15 minutes away, with whale watching, sailing, dining, and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.
