The space The homestay occupies a private section of the first floor of the house and accommodates one booking at a time, ensuring exclusivity and quiet. It offers a private entrance, attached bathroom and exclusive balcony. The homestay offers a queen-sized bed and a sofa cum bed, making the homestay comfortable for anything from 3 adults to 2 adults and 2 small children, allowing guests to maintain independence during their stay. As avid pet lovers, guest pets are welcome, but with a prior notice to allow us preparation. The attached kitchenette is ideal for small meal, hot beverages and snacks, but not for full meal preparation. The property is also catered to by 2 nearby restaurants that offer both dine-in as well as in-room service. The property is set slightly below the road level and is accessed via a short outdoor walkway from the parking area. The surrounding environment is green, quiet, and largely free from traffic noise, with the stream being the dominant sound - ideal for reading, music, rest and remote work. The distance from Dharamshala makes the homestay ideal for families or couples who plan to spend most of their time here and is best suited for guests who are happy spending long hours at the property and making occasional trips into town, rather than daily sightseeing. Guest access Apart from a common staircase that leads to the first floor, our guests have exclusive access to the homestay room, bathroom, kitchenette and its balcony, as well as the outdoor areas leading toward the stream. Free parking is available about 20 meters from the entrance to the homestay and guests need to walk down a rustic path to the homestay. Access to the location is fully motorable - allowing for a very scenic drive or ride. During your stay Hosting is light-touch and respectful of privacy. The hosts are available if needed for assistance, local information, or recommendations, but guests are otherwise left to enjoy the space at their own pace. Meals are not prepared on-site. However, the homestay is catered to by two nearby restaurants that offers dine-in and in-room food options for guests who prefer not to cook. Other things to note The property is about 11 kms from Dharamshala. While taxis and public buses are available, frequent commuting to tourist spots may feel tiring. This homestay is best suited for guests who are comfortable with a quieter location and do not plan frequent daily commutes to tourist areas. The stream is perennial but can become fast-flowing during the monsoon season. Guests are advised to exercise caution near the water during this period. Most guests who enjoy their stay plan fewer outings and treat the stay itself as the destination. Longer stays are especially encouraged, as most guests find the location most rewarding when they slow down and spend time at the property. As this is a quiet, single-booking homestay, cancellations closer to the check-in date are difficult to rebook. Guests are encouraged to confirm their plans before booking.
