Come enjoy our private beach and dock on lake James. New home overlooking the lake. Bring your boat or jet ski or use one of our 5 kayaks. Public boat launch less than a mile away or rent one from the marina. Private gated community with community pool and fire pit . There are two state parks and dozens of bike and hiking trails along the lake . Mt Mitchell, the highest mountain east of the Rockies and Linville falls and gorge are each less than an hour drive away. The space The first floor has the main kitchen, living room, dining area, breakfast island, laundry room, half bath and master suite with its own private bath. The top floor has a private bedroom and a loft area with two twin beds and a shared bathroom. The ground floor has a master suite with private bathroom and a bunk room with two twin and two full beds and an additional bathroom. There is also a pool table, small kitchen, eating area and TV/gaming space. Two additional private master suites with private entrances are off the breezeway behind the garage, one on the main level and one on the ground floor Guest access All outdoor spaces are available for exclusive use including front and rear lawn, front porch, breezeway, back deck and back patio. Access to the lake and beach is from the left rear of the property via a lighted path with 134 steps (lights need to be plugged in). There are kayak/paddle boards with life jackets available for your use as will as a raft and private dock to enjoy while on the beach. Other things to note We are on a hill overlooking the lake. The trail to the lake has 134 steps and is not handicapped accessible. This is a Non smoking property There is room for 4 large vehicles or 6 smaller cars in the driveway. There is no parking on the street. This is an upscale community. Please be respectful of our neighbors, if not, they will complain and/or call the sheriff. This is a great place to vacation with friends and family but if you’re expecting to party and let loose, this property is not for you. There are two steps up to the main level from driveway
