Welcome to Lookout Retreat - your mountain getaway designed for comfort and connection. With space for up to eight guests, a fully equipped kitchen, and an inviting great room, it's the perfect place to gather. Step onto the spacious deck for sweeping views of Lookout Mountain or BQ and enjoy a meal. Unwind in the hot tub under the stars, or curl up by the fire. Hike, bike, and play in summer, then ski Sun Valley's world-class slopes just 30 minutes away. Every season brings its own magic. The space Lookout Retreat sits on 5 serene acres within Bellevue Farms and was originally built as a guest house on Soaring Spirits Ranch. The neighborhood is safe and quiet - a perfect setting to relax and unwind. Enjoy your own private lower patio and upper deck, ideal for morning coffee or evening stargazing. The pickleball court (seasonal) and hot tub are available for use and may occasionally be shared with our family if we're home. You'll have private parking right outside the Retreat and access to a 50-amp EV outlet - just bring your own converter for charging. Please note : there is a pool/pond on the property that is not included with your rental. It is located at the far end of the main house, a considerable distance from Lookout Retreat. The pool/pond is unfenced and unsupervised, which may pose a risk to children - so we ask that you supervise children closely at all times while they play outdoors. For everyone's safety, Soaring Spirits Ranch is not liable for injuries, accidents, or fatalities. Guest access The mudroom is your own private entrance to Lookout Retreat - the perfect spot to kick off your boots, hang your coats, and stash all your gear after a a day of exploring. No need to worry about locking that door; our neighborhood is incredibly safe and peaceful! Head up the stairs to the main entrance, where you'll find an easy-to-use electronic door lock. We'll send you your personal access code the day before your arrival so you can check in at your convenience. The upper deck and lower patio are all yours to enjoy - whether you're sipping morning coffee, watching the sunset, or stargazing under the valley's clear night sky. The pickleball court and hot tub are also available for your use, though they may occasionally be shared with family if they're home. Other things to note Summer days here are made for adventure - hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, exploring rivers and lakes, or playing a friendly game of pickleball. You can even go ice skating! Be sure to experience the valley's iconic festivals, parades, and world-famous free symphonies - they're local favorites and the perfect way to soak in the area's charm. When autumn fades and the first snowflakes fall, the valley transforms into a winter wonderland. From downhill thrills and back-county trails to cross-country, skate skiing to ice skating, you'll find endless ways to enjoy the season. Whether you dive into the action or unwind with a cozy apres-ski evening, there's something for everyone. Whatever the season, end your day by unwinding at Lookout Retreat. Curl up by the gas stove, cook a delicious meal, soak in the hot tub, or simply enjoy the stillness around you.
