With ocean views from many rooms, a rustic river-rock fireplace, and a sweet wood-lined interior, this vintage cottage also sports some wonderful updates, including a new kitchen and remodeled bathrooms. Two red sofas invite conversation in the living room, where large windows bring in lots of ocean light. Another sofa faces the electric fireplace for fire-gazing on chilly nights. A trestle dining table in the kitchen and an extendable Gateleg table in the living room make eating in a pleasure. A queen bedroom on the main level has its own TV. Upstairs is a small bonus room with a futon sofa, recliner and TV, plus a second bedroom tucked up under the eaves with a queen and twin bed, making this a great home to share with extra friends or family. You’ll find a wealth of activities in this corner of the coast. Six stunning miles of flat, sandy beach stretch south from Alsea Bay to the outskirts of Yachats—perfect for playing fetch with your dog or enjoying peaceful walks along the Pacific. Head down the hill to Waldport for essentials and a bite to eat, or take a short drive north to enjoy Newport’s bustling bayfront, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and a plethora of other tourist attractions. There’s more to explore to the south, including charming Yachats, Cape Perpetua, Heceta Head Lighthouse, and the sand dunes of Florence. You’ll love returning in the evening to your sweet sea cottage to watch the sun set over the ocean from your new vantage on the coast! The number of people (including children and infants) present at the Property may not exceed the maximum occupancy outlined in the Property Description. This is a dog friendly property, there is a $60 non-refundable pet fee (plus tax) per pet (limit 2), per stay. Dogs Only. Please keep your pup off the furniture (including the couches, chairs, and beds) and pick-up after your pup. Your pup must be on a leash at all times when outside of the home no exceptions. Please be sure to clean up after your pets to avoid additional charges. Minimum Age. You must be at least 25 years of age to rent the Property. You hereby confirm that you are at least 25 years of age. You acknowledge that failure of this confirmation to be true constitutes a material breach of this Agreement.
