We are a very unique family resort in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes. Trail's End Lodge offers a variety of accommodation from small to multi-family. The space Our cottage is only a 10-minute drive from Bobcaygeon. It sits on 3 acres of land with 280 feet of waterfront and includes six rental cottages located on the north side of Pigeon Lake. Trail’s End Lodge is a small resort with over 60 years of history in the cottage rental business. Each cottage is equipped with hot and cold running water, beds, various kitchen utensils, and tableware. Every cottage also comes with its own BBQ grill, and natural gas is provided. We offer fishing boat rentals and sightseeing boat tours—including passing through the locks. kayaks, canoes, tubing, water slides, and other water activities are free. If you wish to bring your own boat, we also provide dock space. Our dock can accommodate up to 8 boats. About the Water: We do not recommend drinking the tap water directly. It’s safe once boiled. We suggest using bottled water for drinking. Kitchen Supplies Provided: We provide: • Rice cooker • Electric kettle • Coffee maker • Microwave • Stove • Oven • Refrigerator • Cooking pots • Woks • Frying pans • Bowls, plates, cups • Cooking utensils, cutting boards, knives, forks, and spoons You only need to bring your own ingredients and condiments (oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, etc.). Bedding: We provide light blankets, throws, and pillows. Other Items Provided in the Rooms • Toilet paper and hand soap in the bathrooms • Dishcloths and dish soap in the kitchen • Clear garbage bags • Lighters • Kitchen rags We do not provide tissue boxes, kitchen paper towels, personal toiletries, or bath towels. Outdoor Items Provided: We provide gas BBQ grills along with propane tanks, grill brushes, and BBQ tongs. Please bring your own aluminum foil and any other BBQ-related items you may need. About Life Jackets and Water Shoes: We only provide life jackets during activities such as tubing, boating, or boat rentals. At other times, life jackets are not available for use in order to keep them dry for the next guests. Our life jackets are adult sizes ranging from Small to X-Large. Children under 14 must bring their own life jackets. If you plan to swim in the lake, please bring your own water shoes to protect your feet from rocks or shells on the lakebed.
