We appreciate your patience as we continue to beautify this space. ** — House Rules — Please use coasters and/or trivets when placing hot or wet items (including cool glasses of water) on marble countertops. Guests will be charged full costs to repair any damage incurred to countertops - including cracks and water rings. No parties, events, or gatherings. For safety reasons, all visitors not included on the reservation must be pre-approved in advance with the host. Per NYC occupancy laws, no more than 2 adult guests may stay overnight on the property. Guests failing to comply with this regulation will have their reservation cancelled without a refund. Child guests are assessed on a case-by-case basis; however, this space is generally not friendly for small kids and we do not offer a crib for guests with infants. This is a smoke-free property. Violators will be charged a $150 penalty. This is a full-time home in a residential neighborhood. Please observe quiet hours between 9 PM and 9 AM daily, and treat all spaces and surrounding properties with the same respect offered to your home and neighbors. Pets not permitted. Parking is not permitted in or in front of the driveway. — Our Location — The Park House at Astoria is conveniently located just one block from Astoria Park and the East River. A short walk from the historic Ditmars-Steinway area, you'll find: - Delicious food, coffee, and bars - Shopping and convenience stores - Public recreational amenities (swimming pool, running track, tennis and basketball courts) - Pharmacies and more For adventurers, the Park House at Astoria is a convenient base to explore New York City and beyond: - 5-minute walk to bus routes (Q100, Q69) with connections to the F, 7, E, N, W, and R subway lines - 15-minute walk to the nearest subway station (N/W Ditmars-Steinway) - 15-minute drive to LaGuardia International Airport - 25-minute walk to the Astoria ferry terminal — Your Host — This space is shared with a professional couple and their extremely friendly, hypoallergenic dog, Luca. Residents are very willing to share tips from their 20 years of combined NYC-living experience at your request. Guest access Guests have access to the Garden Suite (featuring private bedroom, en suite bathroom, lounging space, and dining area) as well as a shared backyard patio. All doors to private guest spaces have working locks to ensuring peace of mind during your stay. Access to the garage, boiler room, and second floor (including balcony) is prohibited. For your peace of mind, we suggest not leaving personal items unattended in shared spaces. During your stay Residents will take guests’ lead in terms of desired level of interaction. Other things to note — Help us reduce our environmental impact — - Turn off lights, tech, and appliances when not in use - Use only as much water as you need - Minimize use of heating and cooling systems - Keep doors out of the unit closed when heating / cooling systems are running - Recycle all rigid plastics, glass, metal, etc. - Wash clothing with cold water - Borrow the reusable totes hanging from your coat rack when shopping Registration Details OSE-STRREG-0001734
