In the heart of Paducah, we are within walking distance of an array of restaurants and nightlife. Enjoy a stroll down Broadway to experience our waterfront & mural art, while shopping at a variety of boutiques & antiques along the way. Catch a show at The Market House Theatre, The Carson Center or Maiden Alley Cinema, and be sure to visit The Yeiser Art Center & The National Quilt Museum. The space Built in 1903 and rich in history, this 122-year-old building is on the National Register of Historic Places and has a lot of history and ambiance to share. From surviving the Great Flood of 1937, to entertaining Paducah natives Vice-President Alben Barkley and humorist Irvin S. Cobb, people ask "Is the place haunted?" and we reply: Only with the happiest of memories :) Our 3-story event center hosts all sorts of occasions from private weddings, anniversaries and celebrations to public music concerts and themed three-course dinners. The private bedrooms are located in the loft on the 3rd floor, providing a beautiful, elevated view of downtown Paducah. Comfortably reflecting the grandeur of a bygone era, with 14-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, plaster walls, and expansive double-hung windows, the space is sure to delight. The Apartment Lounge and Kitchen are located on the 2nd floor and are a pass-through to reach the private loft bedrooms on the 3rd floor. Two full bathrooms are located on the 3rd floor among the bedrooms. 1 full bathroom adjacent to Bedrooms 1 & 2 and 1 full bathroom adjoining Bedroom 3. Additionally, a pair of venue restrooms are located in the hallway just outside of the Apartment entrance on the 2nd floor that are also available to you. Food and drink accommodations can be made available during your stay. If this is of interest to you, please let us know in advance of your visit and we will do our best to accommodate. Architecture Enthusiasts: When you book your stay, don't miss the grand architectural details: stone quoins on the first-story corners, keystoned lintels over the third-story windows, Ionic-capitaled brick pilasters, and a dentilated and modillioned cornice at the roofline. The entablature is treated with molded terra cotta swags and garlands that encircle and connect round attic story windows. Guest access Guests will enter through the front of the building and have access to the 1st floor Grand Porch, Foyer, & Parlour, the 2nd floor Apartment Lounge & Kitchen (via stairs or elevator), and the 3rd floor private bedrooms/bathrooms associated with their rental (via stairs). Wheelchair access and entrance are on the right side of the building. The elevator goes to the 2nd floor ballroom across the hall from the Apartment Lounge. There is no bedroom access from the elevator. A staircase from the Apartment Lounge on the 2nd floor is the only access leading to the 3rd-floor bedrooms. Please be advised that the ballroom is not included in this rental. Access is permitted solely for passage when using the elevator; it may not be utilized for entertaining or gatherings. The private AirBnb bedrooms are located in the loft on the 3rd floor and are accessible via keyless entry. Two private full bathrooms are located on the third floor loft as well. The apartment Lounge and Kitchen are located on the 2nd floor and are a pass-through to reach the private loft bedrooms on the 3rd floor. Available for your use are two venue restrooms located in the hallway just outside of the Apartment entrance on the 2nd floor. The apartment Lounge is lockable from the inside form your comfort, but is not equipped with keyless entry like the bedrooms. Other things to note During your stay, the Grand Lodge might be hosting public events such as our weekly Thursday Night Bluegrass at the Grand. These events are in the Grand Hall on the first floor and shouldn't interfere with your stay. Don't worry, you can't hear the event from your floor. Common areas such as the porch and foyer might be utilized by our event patrons. You are invited to come join the fun, mingle if you wish!
