If you have additional vehicles, there is free street parking on Cary st. (2 blocks away). Other things to note -NO LIVE TV OR CABLE! There is a Roku TV with Netflix and Hulu for guest use -What's an English Basement? It is a half-above, half-below-ground dwelling that takes up an entire floor of a townhome and is an independent apartment-- there is a separate entrance, separate HVAC, and a full kitchen and bathroom. This is a common configuration in historic cities such as New York, London, or Washington DC, where in the past homeowners had live-in staff or in-laws. This listing is for the entire downstairs apartment. -Since this is a mixed use neighborhood, there can be some street noise at night, and sometimes the college kids in the area can be a bit rowdy. We typically don't experience issues with this, but have provided earplugs and a white noise machine as a courtesy just in case. Also, we like to be good neighbors, and ask that you are mindful of noise levels especially after 11pm.
