Perched 700 m up in the Sierra Nevada, our beautifully outfitted, comfortable cottage offers sweeping sunsets over the Caribbean lush jungle and sea. Wake to toucans and hummingbirds before hiking to crystal waterfalls. Enjoy yoga, honey-tasting, permaculture and beekeeping workshops with our amazing neighbors. Then unwind on the terrace as the sky turns gold and the cool mountain air fills with birdsong. A hidden world of trails, waterfalls and wildlife awaits... The space The house is designed around the view, with two private suites and a spacious open living area. • Main Suite: King bed, ensuite with double shower, panoramic view, extra single bed. • Second Suite: Queen bed, ensuite, separate entrance, mountain & garden views, extra single bed. • Living & Kitchen: Open-plan, simply equipped, leading to a terrace with 180° views. Water from the kitchen sink is filtered by a carbon-UV filter on "cold water" position. Decorated with local crafts and surrounded by tropical gardens. All the beds are equipped with mosquito-nets. Guest access We recommend booking a 4x4 jeep from Minca or directly from the airport to La Casita (contact will be sent after reservation). From Santa Marta to Minca, you can take a taxi or any standard vehicle. From Minca to La Casita, the access is only possible by 4x4 or motorbike taxi (15 minutes), or on foot (35 minutes hike). Regular cars without 4x4 and high clearance cannot reach the house. When arriving in Minca from Santa Marta, take the first road on the left (by the police station) and continue straight uphill, following the signs for “Mundo Nuevo”, “Plan B”, and “La Candelaria”. La Casita is located just in front of “Plan B” farm. Registration details 42037
