A beautifully restored stone granary a short distance from Virginia and Oldcastle, there are plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants within easy reach . This cosy little hideaway is ideally located for a quiet escape to recharge or when attending functions at the nearby wedding venues, Crover House and Virginia Park hotels. . One hour from Dublin, our traditional Irish granary is the perfect base for exploring the local heritage sites, lakes, walks and local attractions . The space A converted two bedroom stone granary with a fully fitted kitchen and sitting room. Our bedrooms are cosy but compact, the main bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has single bunkbeds. Hangers are available for clothes storage on hooks in each bedroom. The bathroom is downstairs and has a shower only .The granary is situated beside our family home on private grounds but has its own designated patio area for visitors outdoor dining . Other garden spaces are private. Guest access There is a dedicated parking area and outdoor dining area for guests use. All other areas of the property are private. Deerpark Forest walk, an outstanding area of beauty on the shores of Lough Ramor. The Ramor Theatre. Kells heritage town, with Kells round tower, St. Colmcilles house and the cross of Kells. We are a short drive from the popular wedding venues of Crover House and Virginia Park hotels. If you are planning a Christmas break we are 30 mins drive from Causey Farm and 15 min drive from Crover House hotel both of whom offer a magical Santa experience. We are also 15 mins drive from Loughcrew Gardens who hold an annual light show. There are many more places to explore, local markets, children's attractions, walks, parks and activities, all within easy reach. We are situated in a rural location and while we are not on a farm there are on occasion some farm smells and noises that are beyond our control.
