Cozy Perth Lake House

Our 4 season cottage is on beautiful Otty Lake, 10 minutes from historic Perth. We christened this 1940s bungalow Chraig a Dwr (Welsh for rock and water). The cottage is perched on Canadian shield giving the sensation of being nestled in the trees as you enjoy the lake view. Those who stay here remark on the peace and tranquility. We have lots of wildlife around and several Provincial Parks within an easy drive. Kayaks and a canoe are waiting for you to enjoy the lake. Relax, rest and enjoy! The space Our four season cottage has heat and hot water though the year. 2 bedrooms (Queen bed bedroom 1, double sofa bed bedroom 2 and a double sofa bed in our living room nook). We have a sitting room to watch TV with an electric fireplace and a dining room and the nook. 2 full bathrooms with a shower in one and a large soaker tub in the other. Fully equipped kitchen and some staples provided in the pantry. We provide towels and bed linens as well as an initial supply of toilet paper, coffee and tea in case you arrive late and couldn't get to the store. There are some life jackets and a few pairs of water shoes, paddles and a an open kayak and a canoe. there is a small dock and the swimming is lovely in our spring fed lake. Plenty of parking, friendly neighbours, very tame deer that wander the area. Bald eagles, herons, beavers, martins and lots o fish - but you have to get up early to catch the wildlife.
