Featuring a daylight basement apartment where you may watch sheep and cows graze from the kitchen windows as well as spectacular farmland sunsets. This apartment is in its glory in the spring and summer and fall with lots of interest - the orchard, garden and chive fields are open to explore at your leisure. Plenty to do and see nearby! Located within 15 minutes of downtown Lancaster City amidst the Amish farming community. Our family would love to host you! The space This comfortable basement apartment has its own personal outside entrance on, what used to be, an Amish farm. Looking around, you will find remnants of the old Amish way of life such as, the classic Amish home+additions, the rings along the barn to tie up horses etc. Bring your kids and let them collect eggs or pet baby lambs (with our help). Depending on the season, there is usually something new for the children enjoy and learn about. Just ask us! The apartment is located toward the back of the house so you will have a secluded and quiet, back yard space. Other guests do frequent the home above the apartment, so it is likely you’ll hear light foot traffic overhead periodically. Quiet time hours are 9pm to 7am for the whole farm. Only the roosters have exception. Guest access Outside furniture and fire pit are common spaces for your relaxation and enjoyment. Exploration of the lawns, grapevines, and orchard are welcomed.
