Mornings feel unhurried here - a warm mug in hand, cool northern air drifting through as the day begins. By evening, shared spaces invite you to settle in, reconnect, and unwind while the landscape grows still beyond the windows. Sleeping arrangements This home accommodates up to 11 guests across four thoughtfully arranged bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features a king bed, Bedrooms 2 and 3 each offer a queen bed, and Bedroom 4 includes two bunk beds. Three full bathrooms provide comfort and flexibility for group stays, whether you’re traveling with family or friends. Indoor comfort The open main level creates a natural gathering space for conversation and downtime, while the finished lower-level hangout space offers a relaxed setting for movie nights or quiet afternoons. Heating and air conditioning keep the home comfortable through Michigan’s shifting spring weather. A TV and wifi support both entertainment and remote work, and a washer and dryer make longer stays easy. Bathroom essentials are provided, and the layout allows everyone to spread out while still feeling connected. Kitchen & dining The kitchen offers everything you need to cook at your own pace, with space to prepare meals and gather around the dining table. Coffee is available for slow mornings before heading out to explore. Whether you’re planning a full dinner or simple snacks between outings, the kitchen and dining area support easy, shared routines. Outdoor setting Step outside to a multi-level deck overlooking a fully fenced backyard, where the countryside stretches quietly beyond the property. Spring days invite you to sit outdoors and take in the fresh air. The fire pit creates a natural place to gather in the evenings, and the BBQ grill makes casual outdoor cooking part of the experience. A private entrance and free parking on premises provide ease and flexibility throughout your stay. Family-friendly features Traveling with children is made simpler with children’s books and toys, board games, and a paid pack ’n play/travel crib available upon request. Optional barn rental For guests traveling with horses, an on-site barn rental is available and includes an indoor riding arena, four stalls, an RV hook-up, and fenced pastures located just behind the home. No horse care services are provided - guests are responsible for the care and feeding of their animals. Location Set along a quiet country road in Maple City, you’re surrounded by rolling hills and forested landscapes while remaining within reach of Traverse City, Lake Michigan, and the broader Leelanau County area. Scenic drives, local dining, and nearby wineries are all accessible - yet each day ends in a peaceful countryside setting. Pet-friendly homes are welcome here. A pet fee of $100 per pet applies. For shorter stays of less than three days, we’re happy to negotiate this fee at $35/pet per night. Please reach out to discuss and confirm prior arrangements for your pets to ensure a seamless stay.
