Emerald Haven- Private Dock, Kayaks, Wide Water!

EVERY room at 'Emerald Haven' has stunning lake views w/ 175 ft. shoreline! 4 BR, 3 bath A-frame home is abounding with natural light and is the perfect blend of tranquility & fun! Relax on the expansive deck canopied by the mature trees listening to sounds of nature, knowing that you're just footsteps away from your next boating adventure on the deep main channel waters! Guests will enjoy two kayaks, paddle board, hammocks, air hockey table, gas grill, fire pit, porch swings, & 2 smart TV's! The space Emerald Haven is situated in the quiet, private residential neighborhood in Beechwood West. It sits on a .65 acre wooded lot and boasts of spectacular lake views and lots of privacy. Main level living at its finest with all the bells & whistles, including gas range, wood-burning fireplace, an array of helpful kitchen appliances including toaster oven, instant pot, blender, Keurig, and coffee pot! The property features two kitchens and two fully-equipped laundry rooms, one on each level! Free Neighborhood Amenities: Guests may also enjoy the basketball hoop & blacktop, large adjacent field, and playground located on Gap Bridge Rd. in the neighborhood. Private Boat Ramp Access: There is a gated boat ramp in the neighborhood a few doors down. A hang pass for your mirror is available for purchase for an additional $25 per stay. After check-in, your host will message you a code for the gate. Vehicle and empty trailer must be parked at house once your boat has been launched. Linens & Towels: A basic supply of towels and linens is provided. Bed linens and bath towels are not changed during your stay. No bath towels are allowed to leave the rental property. Please bring your own lake towels. Consumable Supplies Provided: For your convenience, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, trash bags, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a basic starter supply of paper goods such as toilet paper, paper towels, and napkins are available to you. You must purchase any required additional supplies if necessary. Dining table has a set of table salt & pepper shakers. Guest access You may use the entire home, dock, and lake shed-- and all the amenities that come with them. Easy Waterfront Access: Walk or golf cart right to the private dock! Perfect for guests with limited mobility. Local golf cart rentals available with delivery through Smith Mountain Lake Golf Carts. Not for use: jacuzzi tub in master, driveway shed, garage, powered boat, gas fireplace in basement, and the owner's closet in the back corner of the basement. The wood-burning fireplace in the living room is available for use November through February. Fire Pit: The fire pit is a 19.5" stainless steel smokeless fire pit located in the lake shed. The combination to the lock is 2901. We recommend that you place it on the relatively flat lawn area down by the lake on the right and use the folding chairs from the shed. The fire pit can also be placed on the driveway, but not on wooden structures such as the dock or deck. Please refrain from burning any man-made materials such as wrappers, packaging, plastics, or food scraps. Fire wood and other fire-related supplies are not provided. Fire wood can be purchased from the nearby Diamond Hill Convenience Store or Food Lion for $8.99/bundle. Other things to note Pet Accommodations: No more than 2 dogs. Pets must be on the reservation at time of booking. An additional fee may apply for the second dog depending on size & breed. Undisclosed pets that are not on the reservation will be assessed a $250 fee per pet. Damages or excessive cleaning from pets can incur additional fees. Pet Supplies provided: (2) medium sized ceramic dog bowls (1) large metal bowl (2) mealtime rubber mats Pet Rules: 1. No wet dogs in home. Must be completely dry before re-entering. 2. No furniture/bed access. Preferably keep dogs out of bedrooms. 3. Must clean up doggie waste. 4. Must be secured when alone. 5. Current flea/tick treatment required. 6. Bring own pet towels.
