The space When you walk through the front door of the house you will immediately notice the open spacious feeling of the home. It has an architecturally stylish layout with large windows and vaulted ceilings that brings the outdoors inside. You can view Morro rock and the ocean horizon while at the dining table, workstation or the front deck. In the evenings the sunset sky comes through the large west facing windows. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and an open loft with a daybed with two twin beds. The primary bedroom has a private full bath with shower & jacuzzi tub. There is also an additional half bath and a 3/4 bath. There is a large modern kitchen, dining area with views, living room with a fireplace, and a spacious work station. The front deck offers seating and a gas firepit. Neighborhood: You will love the neighborhood and the smaller communities here on the Central Coast. There are tons of locally owned- restaurants and speciality shops. We provide insider recommendations to the local haunts that you won't want to miss. Enjoy the Paso wine county, local beaches, and hiking trails all around. This location is only a 3 minute car drive to Morro Strand Beach with a gorgeous close -up view of the Morro Bay Rock and 6 miles of surfing & beach combing between Morro Bay and Cayucos. It is only 5 minutes from downtown Morro Bay, 2 minutes to our favorite grocery store, the infamous Taco Temple Restaurant and Thursday Farmer's market, 8 minutes to the quaint town of Cayucos, 15 minutes to SLO town, and 15 minute to Montana de Oro State Park. ROOM BY ROOM: This artfully decorated home has three levels : FIRST LEVEL: The living room, 1/2 bath, bedroom, outdoor front deck and entry way is on the first level. The living room has a picture window looking out onto the oak tree tops and the rolling hill tops beyond. It features a gas fireplace to cozy up to while relaxing with a good book or favorite show on the 50 inch screen TV. The first bedroom next to the living room offers a bright sunny room with a queen bed. A half-bathroom is just outside the door for convenience and there is a newly renovated full bathroom down one level for showering. HALF LEVEL UP Half a level up from the living room you'll find the dining and kitchen, primary bedroom, and workstation with a built in desk. The white-water ocean view with the Morro Rock can be seen from the dining room and workstation. The spacious primary bedroom and on-suite master bathroom is comfortable and calming. The primary bathroom offers two vanities and an extra large jacuzzi tub with a skylight above bringing in the natural light creating a spa experience. The toilet, shower and jacuzzi tub have a separate entry for more privacy. TOP LEVEL The third level is an open loft that can be used as another retreat space to read or meditate or use as additional sleep accommodations. There is a daybed with two twin beds. Views from the windows include the valley and of Morro Rock. BOTTOM LEVEL Is one level down from the living room and has the 3/4 bath and laundry room in the garage. Note: The owner lives on property, in a separate unit adjacent to this bottom level with access through a private gated yard. The laundry area in the garage is shared with the owner. Some house rules to be aware of : - No smoking - Please no partying, there are families that live in neighborhood. - Maximum of 5 guests Quiet times: 9pm-8am (no loud music or activities to disturb neighbors) NO SMOKING, or CANDLES ANYWHERE ON OUR PROPERTY. We live in a high fire zone and have a zero tolerance policy to fire and smoking. Please do not flush wipes, even flushable wipes, down the toilets. Number of guests on the property at any time must match reservation. Please refer to house rules for additional terms and conditions. Guest access You have access to the entire house and deck as described in the property description and shown in the pictures. It will be your home to enjoy. The laundry area is in the garage and is shared with the owner of the home who lives in a separate unit on the property. Downtown Morro Bay and the ocean are only a few minutes away by car. The beach is about 15 minute walk/5 minute bike ride. And there is a large community swimming pool about a 10 minute walk from the house. Other things to note This home has three levels with the entry on the second level which has the living room, 1/2 bath, bedroom and outdoor front deck. Note: The owner lives on property, in a separate unit below the home. The laundry area is shared with the owner in the garage.
