Description
From the 100-year-old Settler's House, some rooms remained that were joined to others, attached to give comfort and shelter to the large family. You can settle into one of them and enjoy common areas, discover secret corners on the various trails that cut through the 50-hectare area, live with farm animals, watch the birds, enjoy the fireplace and barbecue on cool nights in the mountains. The space Connection to nature They say that the farmer has two joys – one when he buys and the other when he sells the farm! Here you will experience exactly the opposite – the experience of those who have discovered their own reason for living in contact with nature, respecting its cycles, understanding its signs, knowing that the earth, water and air are sacred. Animals are brother spirits and trees are energetic beings that impart lessons about time and permeate generations. Here, you will feel in every detail the immense love that nourishes the family and that now, imperatively, must be shared. Finally, you will understand the lesson of the American chief: (...) Every part of this land is sacred to my people. Every bright pine branch (...), the gloom of the dense forest, every clearing and buzzing insect are sacred in the memory and experience of my people. (...) Guest access Attraction of the Rural Memory Site The charming little house, a former stable, looks like it came out of a medieval village lost in the interior of Europe. Eclectic, it houses a collection of objects belonging to the colonizers and their descendants, Germans, Portuguese and Italians, many of them neglected since the 1960s. Inherited from family members and others, who by determination of the universe, arrived through donations or acquisitions and composed an IMAGINARY HOUSE, where life manifests itself in the dynamics of guided visits of organized and previously scheduled groups; and in the objects that are added randomly. Far from claiming to be classified as a MUSEUM, the heritage set reveals the knowledge and practices of rural man in the first half of the last century. Their inventiveness to overcome adversity, their ancestral knowledge to face tropical diseases and accidents common to manual labor, their power of resignation and faith, in a period of recent history, where everyone was excluded from social security plans and survived from the products that the land provided them. Upon entering the house, you will immerse yourself in another time and feel led to reflect, from your own life story, perhaps you will understand that we are all part of the same web and those who preceded us wove the threads that brought us to this time of modernity. Certainly, at the end, you will feel an unfathomable longing for the time of simplicity and you will know that we are the protagonists of our trajectory. What memories will we leave for the future? You can also enjoy common areas, discover secret corners on the various trails that cut through the 50-hectare area, interact with farm animals, watch the birds, enjoy the fire square, the fireplace, the river...
