Poliani Cottage Relax in Nature

Our home in the Taygetos Mountains provides a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, offering a slower pace and a chance to reconnect with nature. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and opportunities for relaxation and exploration. Unwinding on the porch, strolling to the local taverna or setting off on a hiking trail - there is always something to appreciate. The nearby vibrant city of Kalamata offers a blend of modern amenities, historical sites and beautiful beaches. The space Poliani is a quiet, rural village in the Taygetos Mountains. The scenic drive from Kalamata Airport takes approx. 25 minutes and the route offers amazing scenery at any time of the year. The altitude of Poliani means that it's a wonderful place to escape the summer heat but still enjoy the warm pleasant climate of Greece. Each season in Poliani has something to offer including the probability of snow in the winter months. The cottage offers high speed Starlink internet. There is a fantastic local taverna called Ta Pigadia just 650m from the cottage. It serves all the tasty dishes you would expect from a Greek establishment and it's open for both lunch and dinner 6 days a week (closed on Mondays). There is a very small mini-market a 15 minute drive away in Ano Amfeia or a larger grocery store in Thouria, which is 22 minutes away. Our cottage is simply furnished but has everything for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully eqipped and the large fridge freezer means that there's no need to leave the area unless you so desire.
