Located in a peaceful neighborhood, it provides a serene retreat just minutes away from local attractions, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploration or work. The space Welcome to our Colonial-style Home in Shirley, Long Island! Located just 1.5 miles from the beautiful Smith Point Beach, this charming home offers a cozy, private room within a shared house. The space is shared with the host and other guests, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This two-story home features comfortable bedrooms on the upper floor, along with a full bathroom. On the first floor, you'll find a half bath, a dining/sitting area, an eat-in kitchen, and a cozy family room, perfect for relaxation and socializing. Amenities: Feel free to use your preferred toiletries in the bathroom. We provide fresh towels, body wash, and other essentials for your convenience. If you happen to forget something, just let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. There are complimentary treats in your room. If you'd like more, ask the host! Coffee and tea are available throughout your stay. You are welcome to store items in the fridge and use the microwave ​and/or toaster oven, ​but strictly only for light cooking (20-30 minutes). Parking: Curbside parking is available in front of the house, either before or after the mailbox. House Noises: As with many homes, you will hear creaks or settling noises, especially at night or during temperature changes. These natural sounds from the house shifting over time are completely normal. If you ever have any concerns, feel free to reach out​. We want you to feel at ease during your stay! Other Notes: Feel free to come and go at your convenience while being respectful of other guests in the home. Quiet hours are 10 pm-10 am. Only registered guests are allowed in the house. No visitors. Outdoor Space: Backyard: The backyard features outdoor seating and a fire pit for your enjoyment. We're ​happy to offer recommendations and assist with any information you may need during your stay. Depending on availability, I can take care of it for you, or you’re welcome to use the washer and dryer yourself. Just let me know which option you prefer.
