The space Inside the house: Our lovely and modern family home consists of a large American Schmidt kitchen, 1 living room, 1 home cinema area, 3 standard bedrooms, 1 master suite consisting of a wardrobe and bathroom (with 2 Showers Italian style), a laundry room with a store area. We also have 1 guest bathroom and a common bathroom for the family with a bathtub for the kids to enjoy or a relaxing moment for you. Outside the house: We have a patio, a nice garden for children to play under the coconut trees, a covered garage catering for at least 2 cars, and can also be used to host your family events, plus a grease kitchen area. The property is also fully gated and equipped with security cameras on each corners. Our main entrance has an automatic sliding gate provided with a remote controller. Amenities: All the rooms are fully equipped: Our internal American kitchen is equipped with all electronic appliances including 2 electric ovens, a gas stove, hood, a microwave and 2 sinks, a dishwasher, refrigerator (2 doors model with filtered water and ice cubes) and plenty of storage units with a large working surface. Other small equipment provided such as electric kettle, blender, sandwich maker, toaster. Cleaning detergents provided including for the dishwasher. The external grease kitchen has a gas stove, and sink plus a large working surface. A charcoal barbecue grill (weber) can also provided upon request. 1 Laundry: amenities with a washer, dryer, cloth hanger, iron and iron table, including the detergents required. It also has a storage area to keep all other bulky items. 3 Bathrooms: All Italian shower style, including one with a bathtub. Provided with shower gels, shampoo, hand washer, toilet papers and towels. The master has double wash basins and showers to enjoy your stay as a couple. 1 Hair dryer is provided in the master. Cleaning detergents are also provided in all the bathrooms. 4 Bedrooms: 2 double, 1 queen and 1 king size beds all provided with sheets, pillows and duvets, including spares. Air-Conditions: All the 4 bedrooms, the living room, the home cinema area have air-conditions (inverter models - cooling and heating). The master, the home cinema and the living room also consists of a ceiling fan. Water System: Hot and Normal Water Temperature provided in all taps of the kitchen and bathrooms. We have a centralized solar water system, and also gas water system available which can be used during cold season. As last backup, we can also switch on manually the electric mode to heat the water in the solar tank. We have two big tanks used water storage to ensure consistent supply during your stay, including rain water tank for external usage. Drinking Water: Filtered water available in the internal kitchen and also the refrigerator. Internet Access: Free WIFI access points available in all the rooms across the house. TV Unit: A 65" Smart TV unit in the main living room. Youtube and Netflix already provided and connected to the internet. Home Cinema: A large projector screen connected to a TV Stick and a sound system. Youtube and Netflix already provided and connected to the internet. Kids: Baby Crib, High Chair, Stroller and some toys can be provided upon request. Guest access All rooms are accessible except a store room under the stairs and a study room which are used to keep our personal items. Other things to note GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES & PROPERTY CARE • Guests are responsible for the proper use and care of the property, furniture, appliances, and all items provided. • Any damage, breakage, loss, or misuse of items may result in additional charges. • Charges may include repair, replacement, or professional cleaning costs. • Please do not write, draw, or mark walls, furniture, or surfaces. • All items must be used for their intended purpose only. CLEANING & CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY • Weekly standard cleaning is included in the stay. • Extra cleaning fees may apply if the home is left excessively dirty. • This includes stains, spills, strong odors, or misuse of furniture. • Specialist cleaning like valeting (e.g. sofas, curtains, rugs, cushions) will be charged if required. FURNITURE, APPLIANCES & INVENTORY ITEMS • Guests are responsible for all furniture, appliances, décor, and household items. • Guests acknowledge that they have read and taken note of the full inventory checklist for the house and kitchen, including all listed items and their condition, and agree to return all items in the same condition at check-out, subject to normal wear and tear. This includes beds, sofas, tables, chairs, curtains, rugs, and decorations. • Any missing or damaged items will be charged accordingly. KEYS, REMOTES & ACCESS ITEMS • Keys, remotes, and access devices must be returned at check-out. • Lost or damaged keys, remotes, or gate controls will be charged for replacement. OCCUPANCY, VISITORS & USE OF THE PROPERTY • Only registered guests are allowed on the property. • No parties, events, or unauthorized visitors are permitted. • Guests must respect the home and the neighborhood at all times. NOISE & ENVIRONMENT NOTICE (MAURITIUS) • The home is in a local Residence in Mauritius, where normal neighborhood sounds may occur. This may include car traffic, dogs barking, and outdoor activity. • Guests acknowledge that local neighborhood life may include: o Wedding celebrations o Cultural or religious festivities o Birthday gatherings hosted by nearby residents o Any local maintenance work in the neighborhood • These are common local practices and are outside the host’s control. • Environmental or neighborhood noise does not constitute grounds for complaints, refunds, relocation, or early departure. • Refunds or compensation will not be provided for external factors beyond the host’s control including external neighborhood noise, local events and third party activities or normal tropical environmental factors. VEHICLES & PERSONAL BELONGINGS • Parking is available for guests during their stay. • As with any accommodation, guests are kindly advised to take normal precautions when parking vehicles. • The host cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal belongings. • We recommend locking vehicles and keeping valuables secured at all times. DAMAGES, EVIDENCE & CLAIMS • Any damage, missing item, or excessive cleaning required may be documented. • Evidence may include photos or videos. • Claims will be submitted through Airbnb’s Resolution Center. • Charges will reflect actual costs incurred. TROPICAL ENVIRONMENT NOTICE • The property is located in a tropical environment. • As is common in such regions, occasional insects or small wildlife (such as ants, cockroaches, or lizards) may be encountered inside the house or in the garden. • The property is regularly cleaned and maintained; however, the presence of such insects cannot be entirely prevented. • This is considered a normal aspect of the local environment and does not constitute grounds for complaints, refunds, or early departure.
